Can the Real Arcade Pro 3 buttons be modded with same metod that the HRAP 2?
I ordered 8 x Seimitsu PS-14K but now the HRAP 2 retailer can’t send me the stick and want use the PS-14K for the HRAP 3.
Another question, could the usb be remplaced for a playstation cord?
I can’t remember seeing a cheaper brand new Hori. Wii is probably the last system on anyone’s list of great consoles for fighting games, but regardless, even the shell costs more than $50 when I checked. (I’ll still be using wooden boxes for my best sticks personally; but I may get this stick someday anyhow.)
Shin00bist Edit: The above stick sucks. See post below.
Ya, it’s an exact replica of the the fighting stick ex. It cannot be modded since the buttons have no microswitches. They simply press down on a circuit board. They’re POS’s, but the only thing I’ve seen for the Wii.
Nice, welcome to the club. I’ve done two so far but all sanwas since I don’t like that seimitsu uses leafs for switches or whatever. When I ordered one and saw that I had a horror flashback about the x-arcade. I’m sure they’re top notch but I’ll stick with sanwas.
Great thread, I’m stepping into the realm of my first mod, and this guide is helping me feel more confident about it.
I’m curious though, can this guide be used step by step to mod an HRAP 3?? I’ve read that all HRAPs are basically identical, but I’d rather hear first hand.
^ The HRAP3 isn’t the same as most HRAPs. The mounting plate on it only allows a JLF to be put i there. To put the LS32 in there would require some modification to the mounting bracket.
