it’s dropped to $79.XX! just ordered one this morning. even w/nys tax it comes out to a little less than $89.
i couldn’t resist. i already have a TE round 1 from amazon when it was $100, but i wanted to give my brother a fighting chance since he’s been using a pad this whole time. also gives me an opportunity to experiment w/seimitsu, maybe switch btwn the sanwa snap-ins in my homemade stick.
I ordered a ps3 one just last night and all thanks to this thread. I have a TE but finding a SA and for that price was just too tempting. The only bad thing about it is that it says that I might have to wait 4 more days before they ship it, but it will be ok.
Is good to see that the stick craze has cool down and there are so many sticks available and to come and for reasonable prices.
Going to be so pissed if the price jumps before I get my trade-in credit. UPS is delivering it Thursday, hopefully the credit will be there Friday.

Oh well, it’s better than the tekken 6 bundle for $60 which only active for an hour before it died.
Anyway, I think that when hori releases the new HRAP V3 / VX line on 12/24, no one will want these anyway since the V3 / VX are clearly superior in every way.
Just don’t know when is the US release date.
What is that you say? A new line is coming? I still can’t pass this up. I’ll have to get them both. (Actually the V3 doesn’t interest me much. It looks low end.) The Hori “V” looks like a spaceship. That one’ll be sick.
I bit the bullet and bought the Xbox 360 hrap ex-se from amazon for $79.99. Don’t know why I bought it because I have 2 madcatz TE’s for my Xbox 360, 2 madcatz TE’s for my PS3 and a HRAP 3 modded with custom artwork, plexi and al sanwa buttons also for my PS3/PC. Does anyone else have this problem? I for some reason just love fightsticks with my shmups and fighting games.
I have a Sanwa Modded MAdcatz SE, a Sanwa Modded Fightstick 3, 2 Seimitsu modded Fightstick wii’s, a Semitsu modded Tekken 6 fight stick, an unmodded Tekken 6 fightstick and a Ghetto stick made from left over parts and I still bought one!
I’m gonna have to stop coming to this site…

I’ve almost agreed with myself that the next retail stick I get will be an HRAP V SE, but we’ll see if that lasts.
have a broken custom and a modded SE… I would love to get in on this deal but I have no money. I’m gonna need something modable though as my Fieancee is starting to get into fighting games herself and wants a custom of her own now.
I have never tried a seimitsu stick and incase I don’t like it can I drop a sanwa into the hrap ex-se? I heard the seimitsu stick does not have a wiring harness. Are the wires attached/solder directly to the seimitsu stick? Can I put in a sanwa JLF and if so will I have to cut and solder them again?

Wires are soldered to the Joystick Microswitches.
If put in Sanwa JLF-TP-8, have to cut Traces on TP-MA (Microswitch PCB Assembly).
Then solder directly to the Microswitches.
You can solder off the Microswitches from TP-MA.
Dispose of the PCB and just use the Microswitches.
You can replace the whole TP-MA with four individual Microswitches.
But why do that?
Or you can find a Sanwa JLF-TM-8.
Solder to it like the Seimitsu, or use Quick Disconnects.

It’s just like HRAP ver.A, HRAP 2, HRAP 2 SA, HRAP 2 SE, HRAP 3 SE and what more that are same.

I think HRAP V3, but no one knows when the US release is and if you import it, it’ll cost you. But i’d definitely cop one of these cuz normal price they go for $150.
We likely have quite a bit of time until the HRAP V get a US release. You might as well get both.
