So, like, who wants to buy one of these things and then ship it to me in Canada for a little profit?

I am glad to finally see the cost of arcade sticks go down in the US. They shouldnāt ever be over $100 in the first place.
Strongly considering this. I love the way this stick looks, but Iāve been holding out for a PS2 stick so I have just use my adapters and have MC compatibility. This is cheap enough to make me reconsider anywayā¦
I just put in my order, canāt wait to try it out. I used 1 day shipping it was pretty cheap, only 9.99 extra.
I would love to buy this stuck but amazon.com doesnāt ship to Canada >.<
Does anyone know of a way to ship the stick to a location in the US and pick it up near the boarder?
I wouldnāt say that. Theyāre just getting rid of stock anyways, once the next gen sticks come out theyāll be priced at around 150 again. I donāt think sticks SHOULDNāT be above 100 though. I mean the Sanwa/Seimitsu parts alone cost 50$. Then they have to pay for the designing of the case and PCB, the materials, and the labor to put it all together. Personally I think 125$ is just about the right price for a standard arcade quality stick.
You also have to realize that weāre a fairly small market. MOST people I know only play fighting games casually (if at all), and they only use the pad. Theyāll never get into fighting games enough to justify getting a stick. So we have to pay a premium because weāre a niche market. Iām more than happy to pay a premium if it means they keep producing new quality products.
Not to say I donāt like sales as much as the next guy, Iām just saying that I donāt feel shafted when I buy a stick at retail price either.
Madgrab is right, you should never have to pay more then $100 for a manufactured stickā¦I dont think i spent more then $100 w/ any of my 20 sticks i ownā¦
100-125 is the sweet spot in my opinion. I mean the HRAP for 90 bucks is a damn good deal since once you buy one you wonāt need to get a new one ever again (or untill the next gen consoles come out with a new type of USB plug that will force you to upgrade).
I bought my old TE for 160 during the end of the arcade stick drought, and I was thinking about buying a new round 2 or MvC2 TE, but Iām not trying to spend 140-160 then spend more money to customize the buttons, art and plexi. All of that would come out to over 200 bucks. With the HRAP EX SE I would only maybe mod the art on it but I love how it looks as stock so I probably wont even mod it.
Good lord this is becoming an addiction. I bought a new phone and still bought one of these.
I may do some parts swapping with stick I already own. I want to put an LS-32 in this thing with my beloved White Peal Seimitsu (which you apparently canāt get anywhere anymore) nut that would leave one of my MC Cuthulu stick without a stick.
Can the HRAP 3 SA PCB be completely moved into another stick?
Just giving everyone an update. The price on these sticks just dropped again. Itās $79.98 now!
ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
I ordered one a few days ago for $90 =\
wonder if I can call/email amazon to see if they can re-match the price even though its been shipped already?
I think thatās just for the Xbox 360 stick. The PS3 stick is still 89.99 American dollars.
By the way I just bought the PS3 stick. I canāt wait till it gets here, itās my first stick :lovin:
just bite⦠although i already have 4 sticks
i just bought one
and i dont even have a 360.
HOLY CRAP. If that EX-SE was common ground Iād buy it and mod it. The HRAP3-SA is still 89 bucks.
Just checked the site and saw that it was 79.99.
I have absolutely no use for this stick, as I already have 2 fully sanwa sticks for xbox, but it is still soooo tempting. If i wasnāt moving into a new place this month then I would have to pick one up.
Holy Crap is right. I was gonna be pissed if the HRAP3-SA was 79 dollars. I just picked up a new TE stick for a bill. Iām happy with my purchase :pleased: but these are still hell of a deal!
Yea iād definitely try to get money back, say your not happy or some shit, iām pretty sure theyāll do it.
if they dont match the price, you can refuse the package and order another one
Itās rare that you see a 360 stick Cheaper than its Ps3 counterpart.
Iām sure one of you guys out there getting an EX SE would rather have a sanwa stick. I wanna trade for the Ls-32 but Iāve never used the Trading Outlet here before. Is it rather painless?
