HRAP 3 SA - HRAP EX SE: $89 at Amazon?!

comes with a square gate

The difference between the sanwa and seimitsu parts are that the seimitsu buttons are more flat and not concave. I also believe the LS-32 is a little more springy than the JLF from Sanwa.
You don’t have to upgrade any of these parts besides if you want to add your own artwork on there. All solid running parts from a well known manufacturer. I also believe the PS3 version also works with ps2 games. And yes the parts on this particular hori are tournament standard.

My SE will be here Saturday!

I am really amazed about people in this forum. They are truly fellow gamers
Thanks to Blood…Darkness, i now have placed an order on the Hori SE from Amazon.com. Something that could not have happend the normal way since im from Denmark.
That guy have my deepest repect. Thanks so far!!!

Got mine. Took the gate off right away. So far, I still like Sanwa better, but maybe I’ll get used to this.

Are there any difference in terms of feel between this LS-32 and the LS-32-01 with PCB-mounted microswitches?

Whyzat?

Seimitsu stick guys: What is the gate like? A friend told me it feels like a cross between square and octagonal.

The secondary gate i mean. Gets in the way.

Having used both, not really.

And yeah, I always remove the secondary gate on LS-32 sticks. Corners are much better without it IMO.

Lol, I got so tempted I just went ahead and bought that shit. Can’t wait to try seimitsu.

Thank you for clearing that up! I dunno dick about Seimitsu sticks.

I like that the case is grey and not black on the ex-se. Cant wait to put some custom art on it.

it’s white

I’ve used an LS-32 before, but never Seimitsu buttons. I have to say, they do feel a bit clunky compared to Sanwa buttons. They just don’t feel as smooth.

Nevertheless, I wanted an all Seimitsu stick and that’s what I got. No complaints.

mdsfx, how did you draw red outline on that image?
Laugh.

Adobe Illustrator. It’s just the pen tool.

 OK its like grey white.

Hmm…ok so I might try out an octagonal gate(I’m guessing that’s what kind of gate my stick already has…I’m guessing I’m more used it xP) instead of the square gate that comes with this one… Any suggestions on what I should get from Lizard Lick? And also, any other neat(and not expensive =P!) things I should look into buying for this stick?

Do most arcade machines with LS-32s remove the dark blue gate?

There is no octagonal gate for the LS-32. They make a circular gate though.

As good as this deal is, I decided to cancel the order for the EX-SE. I bought the TE already from Amazon for the son for Christmas (actually came in today), and thought, since I had already made a stick for my daughter years ago w/ a Sanwa JLF and buttons, this was getting excessive, and my daughter might not appreciate the present as much. Since I hadn’t personally made a stick for the son yet, I thought I’d just get him the TE since the good stuff is already been implemented in the stick and the box/arcade stick housing looks very attractive anyway, much better than the EX-SE at least in my opinion. I personally like Seimitsu better however for shooters at least, perhaps even for fighters since when living in Japan, the same year Samurai Spirits II came out, I used Seimitsu mostly and find the throw distance less than a Sanwa. Well, f’ it, what is done is done. I guess I’ll have to get used to the Sanwa w/ Mushihimesama futari…
