Ok, seeing as I’m a noob about sticks at the moment, I might as well ask this so I don’t screw myself over xD. My friend and I are looking to upgrade our sticks soon(The Hori EX version that you can buy at like…Gamestop >_>) What would be better to buy, this stick or the MadCatz TE stick? The TE stick is about $130 before S&H, but I’m wondering if after buying this stick and all the button/stick replacements, will they be just about the same price? Just trying to get the most bang for my buck >=D. Thanks a ton if you can give me oodles of information!!!
You already have HRAP EX sticks? Just upgrade the buttons and it’ll only be about $30. You already have a Sanwa JLF joystick in them
That’s preference. They’re both very, very good. There’s no reason to change out the parts in a HRAP3 SA, it comes with the same parts a TE does.

I just got a PS3, so I’m leaning towards the HRAP3 SA, as I have a TE and a homemade wireless stick for the 360 as is.
Luckily the girlfriend -does- love her clothes, makeup, jewelry, etc… The stick addiction doesn’t cause me as much trouble as it could.

Just got my EX-SE. It didn’t seem to come with the usual protective film on the top panel. Is this out of the ordinary?

Ok I just noticed though that it says Seimitsu buttons and stick lever…I thought the TE stick had Sanwa parts? Is Seimitsu just as good? Sorry for asking these questions but I know next to nothing about arcade sticks, as you can tell by the current one I’m in possession of. I’m thinking about buying this like tomorrow lol…come on paycheck xP!
