The MP DP trick doesnt work so good with Ryu because Ryus MP DP takes a lot longer to recover than Kens.
Just in case anyone trys and wonders why its not working.

Same here, I got to 32 Birdie 2 times and I got completely wrecked. Seems like I entered a new difficulty range or something so I need to change my strat.
Has anyone beat hard mode with alex? This makes my 6th attempt in a row (9pm-11:47pm thus far)

Gonna attempt hard mode with Nash today… I’m not as pissed about getting colors from Survival as much as I am getting fight money and character EXP.
I beat it on my 4th or 5th try yesterday. The trick is to know what strategy to use against each character in the later stages. His cross-up > c.MP xx c.MP > HK Scyhte (replace with LK Somersault or c.MP > f.MP TC if they’re blocking) is a life saver.
BTW, does anyone know how much FM each Hard and Extreme win nets you?
I don’t understand this whole MP shoryu spam… I get punished like half the time and just die.
