So i finally uploaded a TC video featuring Thor/Strange/Ammy, includes a preview for some of the best THC technology that there is.

BEWARE, the quality is not as good as the original, Youtube rushed the whole thing with the codecs compression, etc. but i’m done with editing and youtube for this week. The Strange stuff starts at min 0:50.

Damn that makes me want to use ammy :frowning:

Dr. Strange has plenty of ways to keep an opponent in blockstun when an opponent comes in, so I try for the throw when the opponent’s blocking an Eye of Agomatto. Something to make Dr. Strange even more cheap.

I thought I’d quote my post from my local scene’s forums. I don’t play Marvel anymore, but I hope this helps any beginner/intermediate Strange players.

simple question really, just wondering if Strange is a meter dependant character…and does he have a good zoning game. Like…can I drop a bnb where the finishing super should be and still be in good position for zoning / etc. Thanks yall

Its good for strange to have meter so he can punish mistakes, Dr strange is designed to shut down zoning his mystic sword has high durability and his FoF regular no glyph eats up beams his light DoD has fast start up so you can jump over your opponents projectile and shoot them it will force then to come to you then pay attention to see a mistake when they are trying to close in and look to see if they are going to use an assist to close in then punish with the seven rings or the pillar. what i like to do is shoot the mystic sword M followed by a FOF that will make it nearly impossible to out zone you.

yo…why the f**k aren’t people using the Strange One? I just started to use him a few days ago(in the lab), but wow. people who zone should have a lot of trouble with this character…

I know right, hes designed to win all zoning wars, i dont like to use him online cuz the lag make his most basic loops impossible to connect but offline i love using him.

god strange sucks, but i want to make hin work. at least both my teams are shitty so i dont feel too bad when i pick him.

@Ryan I tried to go purification, its just not for me though. Dorm is a beast.
@Serpentaurus I gave up on Ammy too. I think I can make this team work, so who knows, I’ll keep it going at least for now :smiley:

Nice work. I also play a Magneto / Doom (missiles) / Dorm (black hole) team. Dorm has some nasty +1000k combos when aided by the missiles and dark spells. I could make a vid, but i’m still working on my scrubby Magneto :stuck_out_tongue:

And too bad you didn’t give a better chance to Ammy, she is so good with Strange…

Now that you’ve mentioned, I just noticed that I forgot to record the 2D1C combo from my team which goes over 1mil :confused:

need to get more comfortable with strange. hulk/strange/sent is fun and works surprisingly well.

Strange/RR sounds VERY interesting as well. He can confirm off Log Trap easily into straight IP loops.

how do i get better with straaaange. i suppose i just gotta play more patient. he doesnt get much practice so i tend to panic a bit.

Since PR Rog’s playing RR, maybe you can try out Log Trap too? It could work really well though, seriously.

drones really help both hulk/strange. log only really helps strange and is whatever for hulk. i rather have drones.
