Don’t let him Genei-jin??? No, but seriously … if Yun establishes what I like to refer to as “perma-jin” (Genei-jin’ing into a 30-40% bar ender than having 100% bar by the time he retreats to the other end of the screen) you lose. Why you can always guess parry into Seichuzen or whatever to get out of Genei-Jin the reality is when you try risky stuff like that you typically eat a genei-jin combo against a competent Yun, so it’s all uphill and a lot of good guesses on your part are needed to win. Just have to stay on his nuts and don’t let this happen to you. Also if you don’t know hayate>SAI link learn it as this matchup requires you know it or else you’ll find yourself looking for other hit confirms that are less common in this match imo. Only other thing is look carefully at divekicks and punish properly. Jab reset after parry is still something I like but the fact that you may get no dmg at all or guess parried into taking dmg, but it’s risk/reward is worth it considering if you guess right you’ll be able to put him in a 50/50 or get a knockdown and a lot of dmg/stun. … Only matchup in the game I truly detest.
It’s not impossible by any means and 3 good guesses one of which has a hit confirmed seichuzen and he’s dead. Only other recommendation i might have is don’t use your EX’s to much in this matchup. You really want the super here for dmg and if you miss a hit confirm oppurtunity because you decided to go for an EX oroshi you might lose out on taking 30% more of his bar than you did.
