Shirts, underwear and socks take a much higher priority in terms of washing. It’s not like most people are out running around doing track & field events in 100 degree weather while wearing jeans… and yeah, in the winter you can get away with not washing certain articles of clothing for even longer periods of time.
*I’m wondering now if there’s some goof that actually throws his neckties into the washing machine on a regular basis… since it’s on top of another layer of clothing and thus never actually touching your body… I’m not sure those ever really need it unless you spilled something on them.
Three times a year each for the ones I wear regularly, unless they get seriously stained or start to smell. I do have one pair of jeans that i’ve went a whole year without washing because they’ve never stunk, they’ve never been seriously stained or worn out, and they’ve never appeared to be dirty or disgusting.
I don’t sweat a lot, I have two specific pairs of rough and slightly tattered jeans that I use for manual labor(which I wash with the rest of my other clothes accordingly) and I smell my jeans before I wear them just to be careful.
Some of you think that not washing your jeans once a week more or less will make them smell like balls/shit, you’d be wrong, and you probably wouldn’t know this because you won’t notice the people who don’t wash their jeans frequently and don’t stink, because they don’t stink and they probably wouldn’t randomly mention how often they wash their jeans. Basically there isn’t a way for you to know this unless you’re told.
Exactly. Nothing beats the comfort of a soft, well-worn and frequently machine washed-conditioned pair of Levis. And when they eventually wear out after a few years, I buy new ones.
I remember when one my jeans had this gnarly cum stain from when I got a blowjob from a hookup about 9-10 months ago. I didn’t wash those pants for another month after and I still wore them.
Depends on your job/activities. The only time I wash mine is when I get my own shit on them, and that only happens 2 to 3 times a week tops. Pecker tracks are also not a good look. :tdown:

It’s a chemical that bacteria creates that make people smell musty and you cant get rid of this shit without washing it out of your damn clothes.

there shouldn’t be any excuse for not washing jeans. not like it will get “destroyed” or anything. I have this $90 tommy hilfiger jeans for over 5 years and I washed it on the regular. still looks pretty good.
Honestly I’ll wear the same jeans 2-3 days in a row. Though I also shower everyday so I never actually have to worry about smelling bad. But if I’m hooking up with a girl later I always put fresh clothes on no exceptions. If you’re just fucking around at home or running errands and shit, wearing the same pair is fine for a few days. I also wash them once a week. Nobody should be running around in stank ass clothes they havent washed in years. That shit is nasty.
Yeah, having been to several tournaments, including Final Round, I can’t buy the idea that asking personal hygiene questions to avid gamers is a good idea.
Here’s my two cents - I’ve heard washing jeans is bad for them over time. And, it could be considered a waste of water and power. However, there are times when they just need to be washed. Use your own judgment - did you get them sweaty? Wash. A spill or stain? Spot-clean it. I still wash mine after 2-4 times wearing them depending on what I was doing when I wore them. Also, how you wash them is important. I’ve heard dryers are hard on jeans, so you might consider hanging them up.

there is a point where the texture (inside lining) of the jeans changes. that means they need to be washed at that point.
no amount of freezing, will change that. its probably bacteria and other assorted carboxylic acids that line it. and freezing dorsnt get rid of the smell, when the texture changes, I can smell it and its obvious, at least to me.
granted it takes a while because I dont wear jeans unless im going some where. wearing jeans while sitting doing hw whatever is pretty lame.
must find a way to clean jeans properly without water and soap.
This is pretty much me. My summer class has me getting clay dust on my jeans but that goes away almost instantly. I sweat a bit but only in the heat and I never go commando in public. Hell, doing so in jeans sounds unbearable.
