And GG’s to All the houston people as always. Darell is a Half beast. Robot and Dutchforce are fallen beasts. But Martin is the only 100% full beast that dresses in human clothing and lives amoung us. I thought he should be gaurding the gates of hell, but if he wants to play Guilty gear on earth instead thats cool. But man super props for being UNSTOPPABLE! These humans couldnt do anything. And there wasnt even a full moon!!! =O Too fucking good. Oh! and great news to everone else. Kensou has declined his invatation into the empire, and so there is still an opening!
alex is a beastia!!! good job kickin my ass. I beat martin though. I think towards the end, i was just strained from runnin shit and STARING AT THAT GOTDAMN GRID ALL NIGHT!!! Fuck, when i was driving home, i was wondering why i couldnt concentrate towards the end. Then i realized i couldnt even see straight. Fuck, im gonna write a program that will do the grids for next time. Matches will be much smoother next time. Thanks to Tuan, Logan (you sexy bitch), and Alex for runnin shit. Also, Austin peeps are cool as shit. CrazyD is the man!!! Coolest guy ever. Iono, something about his attitude towards games makes me realize what its all about. Props to Kensou, Martin, and Alex. Me and Tuan tied for 4th and david got 5th. What a wierd turnout…
anyway, shit was really fun guys. Thanks for making it happen, and definitely come for next time, cause it will continue to get better. I think next time we will do a spiral formation as far as matches. Anyway, hope everyone had fun. peace

Great games with everyone. Thank ya to Vig, Marn, Genius, Alex and Maniak for working hard to keep the machines running and take care of the tournament. Wish we (Austin guys) could have stayed around to play casuals afterwards but we were tired from having to drive in after having classes in the morning.
I think I enjoyed watching the CrazyDazed vs AznHitler match the most. It was Johnny vs Johnny and came down to the wire.
As far as the Round Robin goes, the results look about right. I wouldn’t mind seeing some semis and finals next time though, if we had more time or had the process more streamlined, or less people. I like watching those just because of the extra weight hanging over the matches.
Edit: Turns out I just wasn’t around to see the semis and finals. Good stuff.

Hey yeah, at first I was super excited about a round robin, but after experiancing it. It’s not really as exciting, and plus some players don’t put all thier worth into each match since they know that it isn’t thier last match. I just thought I would throw that out there. I mean I am not blaiming any of my losses on that or anything, I lost fair a square
But I just noticed from watching other people’s matches that it seemed like they wern’t even trying because they knew they had to go through like, 15 more people before they can take a break.
I think I overheard Tuan saying that the next one will be standard double elimination style.

I was thinkin we can have 3 outta 5 GAME rounds per match. We only get to play one match with the opponent in round robin. 3 outta 5 rounds would at least give the match a little more clarity. Plus I’m a jap whore. I noticed they do it. So we should too! x)
