The first event will be a HUGE Round Robin bracket.
Most players have been practicing at home, or been playing against only a selective few players. This will give a chance to see where Houstons #Reload skills are at, and what the current local rankings are.
Also, since Regionals is coming up, #Riot 1 results will have a big impact on Houston based seedings.

FORMAT:
Round Robin 2/3 Sets
The biggest benefit of running a Round Robin format, is that it will allow for a large number of games played, while giving the average player their moneys worth and more importantly keeping their interest in the game. Instead of the usual, Why pay, when Im gonna go 0-2 and not learn anything? This is exactly what were trying to avoid.
Example: 15 entrants…2/3 Sets…thats a minimum of 28 Matches with 14 other good players. Crazy!
Highest Record player will be sent to “Grand Finals”.
2nd and 3rd placings will play a “Losers Final” 2/3 set to determine who plays Highest Record Holder in 2/3 set.
Ties for 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd, will be determined by set winners. If there are no clear winners, a 3-way sudden death match will occur.
STICKS:
Lets get down to the big issue. THIS IS A BYOC Bring Your Own Controller event. Everyone wants to play on sticks, but there arent enough to go around. I cannot guarantee your personal preference to sticks, but there should be some at the events. However, dont count on there being a stick for you. Have a backup plan. The worst excuse is: I didnt have my stick.
** Side-note / E-pinion: Asking someone to borrow their stick, and them not letting you, please dont bash the stick owner. Sticks are very expensive and require high maintenance. If you are a stick player, you should already own your stick, or in the process of getting one. You invest time into videogames, please invest some money into proper equipment. **

If anyone has legit Xbox/PS2 copies of #reload and Converters, please bring them for extra tournament stations or casual play.
