Shit it was all good until after it ended and I started thinking about the fucked up possibilities. My god, only House could have such a fucked up mind to hallucinate that sort of shit. The ending left me wondering did he ask for the experimental treatment or was it for the regular type?
My head hurts just thinking about that episode, best mind fuck I have seen in a long ass time.
That was some Takashi Miike shit right there (the swollen tongue guy even had his mouth cut on the sides ala Kakihara from Koroshiya 1) ! Except its actually GOOD !!!
poor Chase, he doesn’t get enough screen time and dialogue as it is and when he does he gets bloody testicle bits explode on his face.
I missed the part where he was arguing about Cuddy when his leg was fixed because of the stupid phone, all I got was that it somehow fixed his leg, I guess that’s why he asked for the horse tranq in the end?
I also missed the episode after the 2-part Omar Epps episode  So I dunno how that whole thing got resolved.
No man, DENNY Crane. I just bought season 1 of Boston Legal. Good Lord that is the best fucking show that i don’t think no one is watching. That shit needs to come back next season. Shore is pretty pimpin too but could you just picture a show with Denny Crane, House, and Jack Bauer. Throw in Catharine from CSI for HPA Content (Hot Piece of Ass) and you’re golden.
Good god.
I’m in New Zealand, and our broadcast is about 5 eps behind, but I just downloaded and watched the last episode. Holy crap, that’s the most insane television series episode I’ve ever seen… Glad I waited until after I’d seen it before coming in here though Never seen a “dream”-style ep that I didn’t feel cheated by before.
I’ve been a big House fan since I saw the 3rd episode of the first series, in fact along with Prison Break it has been the only show I’ve bothered keeping up with for the last two years or so. The medical side of the show might be pretty shoddy, but I’m not a doctor and don’t know better. It’s funny and generally pretty intense, with some great character interactions.
I wasn’t expecting something that graphic though :o
The thing I find interesting about it all, is whether or not the entire hallucination of House is actually himself reflecting upon his own life and how he acts or whether within his own hallucination he’s merely filling in what he imagines people would say about his personality and social diarrhea. I guess we’ll have to find out in the end.
I’m beginning to think that it was House’s own consience trying to make him realize and change him for the better. Why I assume this is because with the shooter, his mind basically created a reason for his attempted killer to recover by his own bed. And also creating the most dire of reasons for the shooter to have attempted to kill House, something so iron clad that House is a significant contributing factor of the shooter’s mindset.
Then again, it could been have a subconciously planted idea. It could have been not House’s consience having a heart to heart with him, but instead his mind inadvertently hearing the shooter say “I want to see you suffer” and then creating a prison hell in his head from that suggestion.
