House M.D. Thread

Oh fuck, 12 more hours!!

I’ve got friggin 7:00 lab tonight…

can’t wait folks, what if the commercials have been decieving us and in fact house’s leg isn’t cured but another intricate hallucination

Wow this has to be the strongest season opener in the history of tv! Man this is awesome.

And yeah I think the wife of the paralyzed man is a MILF! Yeah I said it, nice rack! :razzy:

“Inject him with cortisol! The man’ll have sex with his wife again. He’ll hug his kid again…if that’s the combination he was using. Be a shame if I cured a pedophile.” the writers for this show are fucking beasts!!

Actually, the leg thing had to do with something outside the show. The cane was causing Hugh Laurie back problems.

Missed the first half of this episode, but I will be sure to catch next weeks episode. Alien DNA indeed.

I was just about to quote that!!!

Next weeks ep: WTF Has House jumped the shark already?!:looney: X-Files!

Oh and bonus points for the Gorillaz song in the beginning!:lovin:

Yeah, I thought House was being so nice so he could fuck the wife.

Great episode… everyone else has changed, but House is still the same.

House is great…probably the one good show to watch FOX while 24 Season six prepares.

I feel good that I can get some good shows on basic TV, but I feel bad that I won’t get to see daily reruns of House on USA…

Is it just me, or did everyone seem to have House on lockdown? I mean, usually it is House>>>>everyone else, but last night he seemed to be easily dissuaded by Cuddy, Wilson, and his lackeys. He was still an ass, but he definitely wasnt beasting on everyone else… almost seemed like they were prepared for his crap the whole time.

This show is pretty damn good. I love it when they show graphic scenes and then they get cut off by House during a medical procedure. NICE

Well all the characters seem to have “grown” during House’s absence. Evidence of these are the seemingly out-of-character traits that the supporting characters displayed. Chase volunteering for doing the incision on the patient, Foreman, Cameron and Cuddy putting their foot down and sternly disagreeing with House (Cameron even did it in front of the patient!).

Plus House was vulnerable this time. While he is recovering, he has been struggling with an identity crisis (trying to find meaning in his career and his life, Wilson explains this later) and believes that he’s changed. Well he tries. In this episode he tries to be the “good doctor”, caring for his patients in hopes that a feeling of redemption he is looking for is there.

Wilson and Cuddy however, disagreed with House when he said that he’s a changed man and House told him later that he didn’t feel anything, (emotionally******* ) when the wife of the paralyze patient thanked him. Wilson tells him to keep working on it and the feeling will come, because like his leg, it’s atrophied. Unfortunately, the moment House was waiting for, when the paralyzed patient walks, House was absent. In his place, it was Cuddy who felt the meaning and the satisfaction that House was looking for. Wilson argued to Cuddy that withholding this information from House would be much better for his recovery than telling him he was right and have House revert back to his ways. (Ironically, preventing House from reverting back to his old ways and yet in the beginning the disbelief that House is capable of change)

This is where I’m torn because I don’t know if I agree with Wilson. Did Wilson think that House wouldn’t have found the meaning he was looking for even if he did experience what Cuddy had? or Did Wilson think House didn’t deserve to experience it? Do you think the experience would’ve been better or worse for House?

*******The physical leg pain House was feeling parallel to this could be interpreted as symbolic of feeling the emotions. Expectedly, House tries to suppres this (physical) pain by trying to revert back to his old habits: Vicodin. Wilson sees this and prevents him.

Actually Chase was back to standard form in the last episode. The minute everyone else took a stand against doing something House wanted Chase did it, despite being always treated like crap, which is usually what he does anyway.

Foreman (I can’t believe his name is Eric) usually is the one to stand up to House and call him on his crap as well. The only growth was that Cameron turned House down for a date, although that could be like House said, because he was no longer the frail sick man, that she sometimes go for.

Even worse is that I’m 99.999% certain that House will figure out that he cured the paralyzed man. Something like…

-The man comes back w/ family and thanks him during a random scene.

-Cuddy accidentally slips her tongue.

-Wilson feels guilty after seeing House do some “growth” and admits it then House turns super saiyan and uses his bad leg to kick Wilson in the ass causing his pain to come back in an ironic twist.

Me: “Cameron cough Cameron I’m sick and frail…cough-cough”:razzy:

house is gonna be pissed when he finds out they didn’t tell him about the guy he cured, especially since that might have led him to get back on the pills again. he’s probably gonna think that he tried being nice and helping but that didn’t get him nearly as far as when he’s a jerk so he’s gonna have to be a huge fucking ass from now on

Was decent, but I need House to fucking beast on EVERYONE again! Plus I do not think that CAmeron’s new hairstyle looks good on her at all.

I’m interested in seeing just what Wilson’s reaction will be to what House did at the end of the episode.

Rewatching last ep of season 2. Have to. Blanks aren’t filled!

I seriously want to see the logical explaination in this House episode. Either this will be my favorite episode or it’ll jump the shark.:looney:  bites fingernails

It actually still didn’t explain how old boy got out his room and house with a bloody anus and no one noticed. I am surprised that they are reverting House back so quickly, I figured they would at least give it a few episodes.

Still think House is going to fuck Cuddy one way or another this season. And former vegetable dude made this episode, bucket full indeed.
