I’m a dog then.
Anyone who uses slide technique to get their handslap/electricity/whatever out and is a little over eager with it may have a problem.

Screw wrist room. On a viewlix cab your hands rest on the edges as well. VSHG was the first that did it right, now this one. Good stuff.
Just a shame it’s so wide.
That Taito licensed stick is spectacular. I’m skipping everything else. Please be available in the US.
Personally i’d go either V3 or VX, the others seem a bit wide for me, but I guess I can’t be sure unless I actually see it comparison, pic or in person.
Or possibly the dimensions I guess.
The width of that Vewlix replica is exactly what’s appealing to me. It doesn’t look like any consumer stick that’s ever made. I won’t ever be able to afford an actual vewlix cab and Hori will deliver the next best thing. I’m just really hoping I won’t have to import it, the shipping would be massive.
Hori needs to make a controller with a full-sized 2 Player Vewlix panel like the Sega HSS-0130. :bgrin:
Sega Logistics made one a few years ago, it must be super rare or have been canceled at one point. But I have some old pics of it… Does anyone remember what I’m talking about?
damn those are beautiful
no clue but i’d love to see pics!
After some Googling around I think I found the stick you’re talking about from TGS (2005?):
More info here if you can read Japanese.
According to http://www.insertcredit.com/archives/000775.html, Sega apparently had an online questionnaire asking the public’s opinion on the stick and whether they’d shell out 22,000 yen for one.
Man i honestly dont think the V version gives me enough room to rest my wrist. The hieght needs to be lengthened imho. This is the same reason i hated the SE madcatz sticks.
Oh HORI !!!
A change after 26 (27) different Hraps.
My collection of normal shaped Hraps will finally come to an end (11 to go lol).
Prepare for HrapV-SA, HrapV-SE, HrapV-SSFIV,…HrapV-SSFIVTurbo,…HrapV-Tekken7…HrapV-SlapInTheFace…;(
Oh HORI…
Its time to give up on collecting Sticks…maybe
Give up? Too soon !
lol. coming from the guy with 1,000 sticks… don’t they have help groups for people like you? Stick Hoarders Anonymous or something?
Are their any stores in US that sell what?
pfftt .if it isn’t on tv…you know the rest
They should pay poor asians to move to America just to sell us arcade parts.
The money will supply them with food and clothing and unlimited gaming.
It’s not a problem if it’s my hobby AND my job to deal with arcade sticks
I’d prefer an HRAP style to the TE style of stick any day. Closing the lid on a HRAP doesn’t feel like i’m trying to hold some unholy wiring mess down. Pulling buttons out of an HRAP isn’t like pulling teeth. The start and select buttons are easy to get to for replacement purposes.
(Universal mounting kit though, super cool.)
MadCatz still has a loooong way to go.
The TE and HRAP are both mimicking the Taito Viewlix CP.
I even confused the Viewlix branded CP AS a TE thinking Hori started distributing TEs in Asian markets.
The HrapV looks great, I’d like to pick one up if price isn’t an issue but ya definitely a huge plus for gamers who wanted arcade experience at home!
so does the V3/VX actually have more palm space than the FS3 and EX? it looks like it might, but i can’t really tell.
