Hori's booth at TGS - HRAP V, Taito Viewlix, V3, VX!

You’re correct, it’s a Sanwa all-dark-grey button.

^^lol, first HRAP V3 mod.
Looks easy to work with, for ease of manufacturing, they might stick all sanwa for these rather than formatting their plate for seimitsu sticks.
Also, just a hunch, but something tells me that stick is possibly cheaper for Hori to build.

Ooooohhh…Good stuff! Thanks for the info RoboKrikit.

Another 24mm Dark Hai button (for Start), eh?

Just like the HRAP 2 SA!

Wow! Thanks for the great photos and the details on that, RoboKrikit!
I’ve also ordered mine today, I’m going to put a PE film on the panel for protection once I got it.
That’s what I did on my HRAP3.

No… As stated above it’s an all gray button, exclusive to the V3 as of right now.

I hope that Hori Vewlix stick actually comes out. I was about to jump on the HRAP V but I just can’t, knowing that there’s a possibility that they’ll release a licensed Vewlix clone.

wot a friggin terrible place to put a start button, i love the design of the case but seriously? its like they said hey lets just put it right about HERE!

They put it where it is on the Vewlix control panel. But yeah, it’d be nice to have some options to keep from hitting it accidentally.

I’d love a 3-position lockswitch that worked like so:

Pos1: Button on
Pos2: Button activates after holding 1 second
Pos3: Button off

I’m loving the HRAP V, but I would love it even more without the turbo switches.

Any chance someone could get a nice high-res close up shot of the control panel so that I can copy the design for stick art?

where can i find a HORI Real Arcade PRO.V3 SA art button layout template

Hello members, I’m new here.
and I’m searching for a template which i can use for my HORI Real Arcade PRO.V3 SA arcade stick
if there are any Blazblue art templates available for this stick please let me know
also i would like to obtain information about printing my art (what dimensions to use, which kind of paper to use)
an most importantly how to instal it (cropping it, glueing it, how to make it perfectly fit my arcade stick)

beforehand kind regards for the one that come up with good solutions.

To my knowledge there has been a template developed yet, but I believe one is in the works.

any word on the VX?

Does anyone know the exact thickness of the HRAP.V3 SA front panel art? I recently modded a HRAP V3 SA (pics in this topic) by removing two buttons from the initial setup + putting them on sides, but I’m also thinking about updating the art to fully cover the holes without using caps.

Any info on the PC combatibility of the FS V3 yet?

It works on the PC and shows up as a Real Arcade Pro I think.

If anyone is interested, I put up a way too long review up on the local forum here. Mod guide should follow too … http://www.ozhadou.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=4606&p=76568#p76568

I wonder if it means that it’s on the same PCB as the HRAP.V3-SA. This also makes me wonder if it no longer works on PS2 BC like the V3-SA.

Also, for a template, if anyone can give the exact measurements of the art panel as well as measurements to the location of the holes for the stick anb buttons then I can try to mock something up for testing.

Oh wow, I didn’t notice that. Just checking the box/website, it actually says:
PlayStation2?PlayStation???PSone???
So yeah, it doesn’t seem to support it. I’ll test it later today and put the results here.

EDIT: I just tested it on my 20gb NTSC-J PS3 with CvS2 and it all works alright … perhaps incompatibility was fixed with a recent firmware update, or it only doesnt support certain games?

EDIT2: Oh the disclaimer actually says PS1 and PS2 as in the systems not the games, my bad. I haven’t seen any other information regarding incompatibility, so just disregard me backing it and see my results (that it works).

Well the incompatibility was reported with the V3-SA and not th FSV3, so it might be different PCBs after all.
