I’ve used mine for like… 5 few hour sessions so far, and also brought it to a friends Halloween party cuz he wanted a fighting game setup. It was mostly noobs passing that and my TE around drunkenly button mashing and it’s still fine. It does feel like it could be fragile though, and on top of that, a bit of a pain to fix >.>
That seemed like the pinnacle of the stick’s use to me… being passed around conveniently by drunken button mashers
I am a complete noob with sticks…I was wondering if the Sanwa LB-30-N Joystick Bat Top with the adapter screw will fit on the PS3 tekken 6 stick… im happy with the stick…i just hate ball tops and wonder if the bat top could replace it…
noob question … i have the 360 stick and noticed that everyone daisy chains the grounds on the buttons…does it matter how its daisy chained or is there a certain pattern you have to follow?
hey there folks, im a total noob to modding sticks, and this tekken 6 stick is actually my first. I was just wondering could anyone on here show me how to change the artwork? i’m not really sure if it’s possible at this point, but if anyone has done it, or knows how, please let me know. thanks
well i just took off the art the other day…what i used was a really hard rubber scraper for dishes lol and i slid it under the art and preceded to peel it off slowly while scraping it underneath…
meanwhile when thats done you can use that as a stencil for your art and print out something somewhere and cut the button holes and such to the stencil of your art and you should be set…
its just a matter of how you wanna stick your art on
Finished up wiring up everything and fitting all the boards inside. I placed two switches in the battery compartment. One is to cut off the battery and the other is for switching which board the guide button is used for.
This stick is for a friend and he requested to keep the joystick and start/back buttons stock. Just waiting for his new sanwa buttons to replace these temp colored ones of mine.
I’ll be drilling a hole in the side for a usb port so the sixaxis controller can sync up and recharge its battery.
I dont think i’ll bother modding this stick, so anyone here just using as stock? Someone wants to sell me the 360 T6 bundle for $80 brand new, is it worth it?
on its own the stick is pretty good, responsive, nice feel, and the distance between the stick and buttons is a little wider than thew SE/TE sticks. all and all worth getting
when I first got mine I didn’t like it. The buttons felt a bit unresponsive, and the stick felt a bit rough like there was plastic-on-plastic rubbing going on. Maybe it was a rough casting line along the inner edge of the gate or perhaps the pivot cylinder. Whatever the case, after a few hours of use the stock stick feels a lot better; it could be I’m just used to it, but I don’t seem to feel that roughness I mentioned any more. I still think the buttons are crap, though none of them have failed on me. As soon as I have a back-up ready, I’m gonna mod the T6 with Sanwa buttons and make the stick a Sanwa/Hori-hybrid (for clearance and stick height purposes). If you can get one at a discounted price, it’s worth going after for the convenience of having a slim, wireless fightstick without having to do surgery on the innards to make it so.
I lost the USB dongle that synchs the PS3 Tekken 6 arcade stick to the PS3. Where can I get a replacement? Is there any other USB dongle that will do the deed? Any light you may shed on the issue will be highly appreciated.
