How good is the T5 stock stick? I’m planning to get one for 3s MAME but I saw a post saying it lags for computer?

finally ponied up and got my final graphic from a custom sign/graphics shop. Hopefully I can get some pics of the final results tonight(forgive me if I don’t show the innards as I only use 2 colors of wire and it’s far from clean lol).
Alright I’ve already done a T5 Hori mod with a K-Stick earlier and I basically winged it and now I’m in a bit of a bind. It turns out somehow I drilled the holes for the stick at a slight angle and no I need to redo the mod on another T5 Hori top(which I’m already in the process of getting) However, one thing that was a pain when doing the original mod was the removal of the Hori stick braket. It ended up just falling off when I used a metal hole punch to make the large hole needed for the K-Stick but I’d rather not risk such a meathod again, I feel like I was lucky I didn’t mess up the top.
So, my question is how do I remove the bracket without fear warping the metal top cover? How did everyone else do it?

i just recently re-did my stick, i 100 percent perfer putting a plexi glass over it…if you have the tools for it … its REALLY easy to do

how easy is it just to change the buttons on the T5 stick. what tools would i need?
A dremel would be your best bet but you can buy some metal files at home depot for a few dollars. Only issue with the metal file is that it will take a long time to do and might not be even all the way around.
i also have a tekken 5 stick but its the Jap stick (white with red lightning). what is the better stick to put in to this one because i tried the pulling the spring trick and i dont like it so its time for another stick. i also wanted to know about where i could get the plexi for this stick because ive seen and read where people have this done and it looks great. i would order it right away if someone can link me to the person who can make this for me.
You’ll also need a soldering iron, wires and solder. Quick disconnects are optional, but make things easier in the future.

does anyone in the san jose area know how to modd a T5 stick?
looks like im about to dive into one of these sticks soon. i’m a scrub at soldering but those contact points look bigger than the ones i fucked up on a ps2 madcatz a year ago.
