Hori Real Arcade Pro FAQ for all versions

Hey, if someone could take some time to help me with this I would really appreciate it.

I wanna mod my HRAP3SA so it looks like a T6/T6BR cabinet panel. In this thread: http://www.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=158957 (which I’ve been bumping a couple of times) is all the info. I’ve tried it out myself but I couldn’t get what I wanted.

And also, I think I saw someone selling metal panels to HRAP’s. Does this mean I can get one with sex buttons (two to hole plug obviously) or do I just have to print art and plexi over?

Help me, please!

  1. Your best bet is asking in the Big Stick Art Request Thread. Someone there might be able to help you make a template for your HRAP. That might be your best bet since no one responded to you in the HRAP template thread.

  2. I don’t think anyone sells the metal panels for the HRAPs anymore. The only option available are the panel replacements Art sells in his thread. You can customize your button layout so that you can only have 6 buttons.

Okey, thank’s for the answer. I’m glad that someone gave me a little response. I’ll try the Big Stick Art Request Thread!

HRAP EX-SE is not common ground, correct? I had heard rumors of people modding them with MC Cthulhus anyways. . .

Not Common Ground.
People replace the PCB with another; Cthulhu, other Xbox 360 PCB, whatever.

Is the USB cable for the HRAP EX-SE 360 the same length as the cable for the HRAP3-SA listed in the FAQ? Because according to a review on Amazon, the cable is only 6 feet long, but I thought that wasn’t right. I just bought one, but I’m hoping the cable is actual 3 meters instead of the 6 feet listed in that review.

Which two HRAP are you talking about?
I know one is the HRAP EX SE.

There is not such thing as HRAP EX SA for PlayStation 3.
Because the [EX] is exclusive to Xbox 360.

There is HRAP 3, HRAP 3 SA, HRAP 3 SE; those are PlayStation 3.
There is HRAP EX, HRAP EX SA, HRAP EX SE; those are Xbox 360.

ii never knew there was an EX SA. Cool, Guess those are pretty rare to see.

Yup.

Like some don’t know that HRAP 3 SE exist.

Sorry about the mixup. I meant the HRAP3 SA. Anyway, do any of you know if the cable on the EX-SE is the same length (3m)?

I was browsing the Hori site and noticed some models coming out later this month.

Wireless FS-EX (360): http://www.hori.jp/products/multi/stick/multi_wireless_fs/360.html
Wireless FS-3 (PS3): http://www.hori.jp/products/multi/stick/multi_wireless_fs/ps3.html

We’ve known about those, non-branded versions of the T6 wireless stick for some time now.

Also, they’re technically not HRAPs and not covered in this thread.

i have one of those ps2 arcana heart 2 hori sticks, i would like to switch out the buttons but they are soldered in and i have not idea how to go about switching all of that stuff out. are there any useful idiot proof guides anywhere to that kind of stuff, well specifically to that stick?

Why isn’t the Hori Mushihime Sama Futari stick listed here? It’s basically a HRAP EX with an LS-32 instead of a JLF.

HRAP Death Smiles IIX is also coming out.

ive been wanting to put my SE stick’s pcb into the T5 case cause i prefer the T5’s heaviness

Should be pretty simple, unless you want to keep the turbo panel which will take a bit more work since it’s not the same size as Hori’s. Your best bet would probably be to drill a hole in the back for the Home/Guide button.

thanks for responding, this is going to be hard

Is the USB cable for the HRAP3 detachable? If I (plan to) buy the HRAP3 I want it to only have a PS2 cord coming out and possibly use a USB converter instead.

The HRAP 3 PCB doesn’t do PlayStation 2.
So what is the PlayStation 2 cord going to be connected to?
