Yessir, those SR-110 covers are very nice! :bgrin:
Thanks for the info though jdm714. Here’s to hoping it’ll fit! Also, I hope you’re enjoying your Hori Real Arcade Pro 1. That mirror top looks very nice! I take it yours is a version B with the universal mounting bracket for Japanese sticks?
Haha, of course! I browse the Trading Outlet almost as much as I linger on Tech Talk!
Also, apologies for the confusion. I’ll have to remember that one. I think you said somewhere that the Hori Real Arcade Pro 1 ver.B had the same mounting bracket as the RAP3. Did anything else not come with the universal mounting bracket that was considered a HRAP? I’m thinking that everything besides the licensed HRAP3s and the Arcana Heart 2 HRAP had the universal mounting plate.
Yeah, you mostly did, at least about the Suggoi! Arcana Heart 2 Hori Real Arcade Pro.
I didn’t know that the Amazon edition HRAPs didn’t have the Universal Mounting Bracket either, same with the HRAP SA. No wonder the HRAP SE was sought after more!
Good information as usual jdm714. Thanks a bunch!
i just bought a HRAP 3 SA and was planning to switch out the stick with a ls 32. My problem is that the screws on the jlf wont budge. Does anyone have any suggestions to get these screws out?
I think it should be noted on the OP that the HRAP3 SA has access to the inside through the top panel. I’ve always hated about my HRAP2’s and regular HRAP3 that in order to do any kind of modding/repairs you have to go through the extra step of removing the bottom just to get to the top. Plus the nuts on the top panel are a hassel as well.
So, I was playing on a modded Madcatz SE from release until the New Year, at which point I switched to a Hori 360 EX-SE that I got through the Amazon sale.
I was hella comfy playing on an SE, but the Hori joint is totally fucking with my wrists, man! I think it has something to do with the fact that the stick is completely flat with no real slope for my wrists, so they rest on the edge of the stick for marathon sessions. I thought it’d get better with time, but it’s a pretty persistent problem. A shame too, because I love the weight and the feel of the stick…
I just wanted to say that I bought a HRAP2 SA from someone here on the forums recently and its probably my favorite stick ever. It just feels so solid and well made. I’m thinking about putting some Seimitsu parts in just to try them out, never used them before.
I have one question though, I opened it up last night to check out the insides and the pcb wasn’t in the normal spot it usually is with HRAPs. Would this make it a huge pain to change out if the pcb ever crapped out on me?
