sorry if this has been answered but i really didn’t feel like searching but how do you mod an HRAP EX with an octagon gate? Or do you have to buy a new stick?

If you have the normal HRAP EX then you have a Sanwa JLF stick installed stock. All you would need to do is…

buy a Sanwa octo gate
open up the top of the stick
remove the square gate (you can find tutorials on how to remove the Sanwa gate on youtube if you search right)
then put on your new octo gate
close the top of the case and you are good to go.

Can anyone tell me how big the hole sizes for the start and select buttons are for the HRAP-ex? Are they 30mm or 24mm in diameter?

So I take it the HRAP 3 SA has a different mounting plate than the regular HRAP 3? I’ve read that you cannot install a LS-32-01 on a HRAP 3, as it uses the same mounting plate as the HRAP1B.

Yes, you got that right.

HRAP 3 has Mounting Bracket like HRAP ver.B one.
HRAP 3 SA and HRAP 3 SE has the cool one that can take Seimitsu LS-32-01.

I doubt anyone does, but do Hori’s old Real Arcade Pro cases (the ones for the RAP1, RAP2, RAP3, RAP EX) have the clearance to use Sanwa’s OBSF-30-RG buttons and SR-110 plastic 0.110" quick disconnect covers?

I’m going to use them also.

I don’t know how much height the SR-110 give.
But the HRAP Case can take OBSF-30RG.
HRAP SE did have Seimitsu PS-14-GX.

Looking at my HRAP, as in the first HRAP, the one with Mirror Top.
It looks to have clearance?

I’m measuring 1.25" of clearance from Quick Disconnect of OBSF-30.
Now just take the difference in length of OBSF-30RG.

If the difference is cool for 1.25", then SR-110 may fit.
