Eric, these threads should help you out. Your options are putting in a gamecube controller pcb and wiring it with your HRAP 3 PCB, or just swapping your HRAP PCB with a MC Cthulhu and use a RJ-45 jack like Bomberman. If you can’t solder, check the trade outlets to see if someone can do it for you. Hope that helps.
The different mount is also why you can’t put the second dustcover of the SK-model JLF’s between the stick top and the faceplate. There’s just not enough room under the T5 faceplate for the dustcover to move freely without grinding against the top of the JLF. Over time it will damage BOTH the JLF’s top body/base and the interior dustcover.
I stack both my dustcovers on top of the JLF exit hole in the T5 faceplate. I paid for both dustcovers along with the shaft cover on the JLF-*-SK so darn it, I’m going to use both of them!
You could remove the Hori T5 mount and put in a Sanwa JLF “S” mounting plate in its place to use the second dust cover as intended but that’s a lot more work than what it’s worth and I don’t think it really protects the JLF that much more in the long run…
I already have an hrap3 and I recently bought a hrap2sa from the trading outlet…is it possible to switch parts between the two sticks like top panels and etc?.. because I want to use the black case of the hrap3
quick question, how do you mod an HRAP3 top panel so youll just need to open the top panel if you want to do something with the inside? (more like the materials that ill be needing with measurments please) Thanks a lot~
Does anyone have a tutorial re-wiring the HRAP3 L3/R3 buttons from the panel on the faceplate to somewhere else? I’d like to replace those buttons with larger ones and move them to the sides of the case. So far my modding attemps only include replacing ball-tops and buttons… so any assistance re-wiring/soldering would be appreciated.
Hi, i’m new to both the srk forums and home arcade sticks.
I was wondering if you guys could help me with my problem. and yes i’ve googgled and looked through this site,in hopes of troubleshooting but with no success.
I recently got a hold of a hrap3, i’ve been satisfied with it and plan to add plate art and replace the buttons. Ok here’s my problem, after less than a month of use my pc and ps3 stopped recognizing the stick, most likely do to a usb malfunction. To be exact the turbo light flickers and get the usb device malfunction message on windows. I’ve tried a usb extension, it solved the problem for a little while, but now it stopped working again.
I’d like to know if i can easily replace the usb cord attachment from the inside, do i have to completely remove it or only just a portion, where can i buy a new one that will work with the hrap3 if there are any?
Really don’t want to give up on the investment that i made on the stick, especially only after such a short time. Any help i can get would be most appreciated.
Thank you very much, and if this is the wrong place to post, then can i please be directed to the right location.
I need some help. My Stick is fine, but at certain times, if I pull the stick all the way down when i’m playing it clips on the something and causes friction, and it highly annoying. It seems like it is the second dust washer causing this problem. The only way to fix it is to seriously punch my stick or just keep jerking it. I know I treat my stick like shit, but why is it clipping on the second dust washer?
What can I do to fix this?
Thanks.
incognito- Your probably better off starting a new thread in this forum. pretty sure youll get a quick response.
Vocab- What stick are you using? is it the t5? Either way, if its catching on that second dust washer the best thing to do is remove it. You can either unmount the joystick and take the washer off. Or, since its probably no good anymore, just clip it with some small pliers.
HRAP3. So I can just unscrew the stick and remove the washer? Sounds good enough. Thanks.
Thanks already went ahead and created one, though i’m not getting any feedback yet.
Basically i’d like to know where i can buy this.

Thanks AJtheMishima…I imagined I could but figured I should ask anyway…still waiting on my HRAP2SA
thanks AJ hope they sell those carriage bolts in our local hardware shops
ace hardware has them. but they dont carry large quantities.
i have hori blazblue for both ps3 ad 360. i also have TE for both systems and a hori sf4 360 stick but im in the process of getting rid of all of them and just having a hrap 3 SA for ps3 which i have already ordered and the hrap EX SA for 360. is this a good decision or should i facepalm? i’m not into the whole stick modding thing.
Hmm, how hackable are the HRAP PCBs?
for hrap 3, there is a switch D, L, R, the (digital pad(default), Left analog, or right analog)
is use D better or L better for fighting game?
I would like to know this too, right now I have it on D.
ok, just to make sure…
if i buy a HRAP for ps2… i can play both ps2 and ps3 games on ps3???
also, is this a good stick?
