Can anyone give me an idea of what needs to be done to swap a HRAP3 cord with a T5 cord?
they are quick disconnects like the other hraps. to open it u use a #4 size hex key on the screws of the top panel

The PS3 one works on the PC without any hassle at all. The Xbox 360 horis will also work, but you need to use driver software from Microsoft with it.
The PS1/2 will work with a converter of course.
EDIT: Ps. the HRAP3 will work with a Seimitsu LS-56-01 without any modification for sure, but the mounting screws will need washers.

Sorry if this has been asked a million times before but…
My HRAP2:SA just arrived today and I’ve never played on a stick with a ball top before. Is there anyway I can convert it to a bat top?
Also, I’m not really feeling the square gate, I want to use an octo gate. I’ve seen a ton on lizardlick, but which one should I get for this particular stick?
And lastly, I’d like to change the color of the buttons. What size/type am I looking for? Sanwa 30mm snap-in?

30 mm sanwa snap-ins r wut u want to use. nd yes u can install a bat top on ur stick by opening up the stick nd placing a flathead screw driver in the slot of the stick. twist it to the left nd it should loosen up. the items u will want r a sanwa LB-30 nd an adapter to get the bat top in. for the gate, get the gt-y octagon since the stick is a jlf stock. that works for it very well.
last but not least. to get to the insides use a #4 size allen wrench. that will fit the hex keys.
that should cover ur ques.

Also, I know this is an HRAP thread, but I had the same questions regarding the MadCatz Tournament Edition Fightstick (Xbox360). I’d like to make one order from lizardlick for everything.
I just got a HRAP3, and I just got one question. Is it normal to be able to move the stick up, like being able to pull it up? Or should it be more secure and unmovable?

Hori Real Arcade Pro 2 SA Issue
I recently bought a Real Arcade Pro 2 SA for the PS2 from Ebay.
The seller said it was barely used and was adult owned which helped me make my decision.
I got it home and found out that the L2 button does not work at all
tested it out on 2 systems using 2 games Street Fighter Alpha 3 & Marvel Vs Capcom 2

The seller stated that
"Hey, I looked this up and I realized that the control scheme is different because it is imported from Japan. The L2 and R2 by default are not the same as in the states, which is why it works when you put it in turbo. Try a different combination of buttons or changing the control scheme settings in the menu. "

Well when I played Alpha 3 with my?HRAP2 SA the L2 was always L2.?He’s lying.
Got my HRAP3 delivered yesterday.
Its my first arcade stick and its excellent!
I’m still getting used to it as QC motions are really inconsistent. Its totally different than playing with a controller. And consecutive QC motions for SUPERS are neigh impossible. :annoy:
You seem to have to be alot more deliberate with your motions than with a controller.
I haven’t seen anyone mention this, but at least for the purposes of the faq.
the EX works with PC out of the box and with a Mac with a minor .plist edit (I tried to compile a new driver, but it kept failing so… just edit the kext directly. Change the DOA listing in the plist. Keep the vendor ID the same and change the hardware ID to 22.)

Sorry if this question has been asked guys I read the FAQ in full and tried looking past a few pages but I couldn’t find an answer for this specific situation.
I’m currently in Japan and looking to get some HRAP3SA’s although from what I gather the item is supposed to be a HORISTORE only special. Although I do remember hearing some retailers had them when it was originally released.
Could anybody that has been here, or that lives here possibly shed some light on where I would be able to attain some HRAP3SA’s if I am able to at all?
While they are Horistore specials, other people have carried them.
Akihabarashop carried them, they also carried the EX SE which is also a Horistore special.
Past tense on both. You’ll probably have to look in the 2nd hand markets.
