Does anyone know what the Fate Unlimited Codes Hori looks like inside??? I wanted to know if I should still get one.
you could order a HRAP3 from amazon and order some Sanwa buttons from LL or AS then you’d pre much have yourself a HRAP3SA… and probably cheaper then importing the SA.
Question is, maybe it’s very dumb. no experience about modding, it’s that difficult? BUt When I saw a video of StreetFighter IV T edition stick, that was amzzing, like just open and pick out these you don’t want, like change HDD at PS3… If that easy, I would mod too
CoZ I real need a stick…
yeah, not very hard at all.
open the case, disconnect the wires(they come with quick disconnects), snap out the hori buttons, snap in the Sanwa buttons, reconnect the wires, close the case.
probably take you about 5 minutes to do.
thanks.
Sounds it’s like that easy as change HDD on PS3 , Then better order HRAP3 and plus Sanwa buttons.
hey what’s the life expectancy of the HRAP 3? cuz i’m about to buy one in the next few days (used) and i’m wondering how long will it last. I’m planning on eventually putting sanwa buttons in but i’ll probably do it when i’m back in the US.
thanks ahead of time
edit:
also, this is most likely a dumb questions, but will there ever come a time where i have to replace the pcb itself?
Stupid question: How do you open up a HRAP3? The top faceplate is connected by 6 things, but I can’t grip them in anyway. They’re just circular rounded tops to screws or something. They’re not nuts.
EDIT: Okay, nevermind. You just lift the rear plate and get in from there.
Forever if you take really good care of it. I’ve had mine for about two years and I still have the original cord that came with it. Try to keep your cord tied up like this picture. It keeps the cord from fraying.

I got my HRAP3 last week and the adhesive cover on the artwork started peeling off for no reason at all. I was going to exchange but I’d rather just replace the artwork. I can get the artwork printed on vinyl, but what do people usually use to cover it up?
I’ve seen some people using plexiglass, is that the best way to go? What thickness of plexi should I be looking at?
^^You can get it laminated as well. That’s what I did with my hraps and they’re going on 2+ years with no scratches.
Hey uh, question time. How do I go about removing the silver plate from the HRAP1 and replacing it with art? Together with that question, the protective cover that it has is curling up at the sides, but only a tiny bit. It’s still annoying, so I’m looking for a full replacement here. The rest of the stick is fine, I’d just like to get some art in there and do away with the plastic coating, avoiding it getting scratched in the process.
Thanks guys.
i like the layout of the hrap1 or t5 style of buttons. i want to take a pre-connected pcb with buttons and stick and put it right into a T5 stick. is that possible? all sanwa. my choice of colors. anyone here want to set me up with one and ship it to me? how much? i dont want to deal with desoldering the t5.
You’re going to have to desolder anyways to get the old buttons/stick out.
even if i wanted a whole new pcb wit the buttons and stick using quick disconnects? what would i still have to desolder if im not using the old pcb?
You would have to desolder the old PCB in order to remove it and the buttons + stick so you can put in the new PCB + parts.
How do I change the art on a HRAP3? Could someone link to a step by step guide on how to and where to obtain new art? Thanks
i see. thanks for the reply. wish i could have someone do this for me. know of anyone in ny area who can mod this well?
Does any1 have a pic of inside of Hrap 2 sa?
does anyone have the wiring info for the hrap 3? i’m trying to dual mod mine and any info or links to such info would be greatly appreciated.
