Does anyone know if the HRAP 2 SA has a thin plastic film on top. I just got mine today and it was wrapped in a blue plastic bag inside the box. I remember reading the HRAP 1’s had it.
Just wondering if there was film I needed to take off the top panel, or if it is that shiny normally 
My SA did’nt have any plastic film on it.
Amazon is having a sale on the HRAP 3’s that they’re taking preorders on. It’s 89 bucks now. That’s pretty insane. I’m considering getting one now especially considering that I have a bunch of extra sanwa buttons lying around.
got my HRAP 3 SA. This is my first Hori stick, as previously I have been using an old mas stick that I modded (happs parts, quick disconnects, art, etc for a good American-style stick), and a namco PS1 stock stick (love that thing).
For the HRAP I would like to plug two of the 8 buttons and maybe put them somewhere else, and maybe take out the turbo panel or relocate it. I also wouldn’t mind putting in some custom art.
Is ther a PS2 to PS3 converter in existence so I wont need 2 sticks I would just get a HRAP 2 SA but I hear the TAC converter to PS3 has sreious lag, and I cant find the Pelican anywhere

I used the Tekken USA Hori forum and I worked like a charm. There is one problem and that is that there are no pictures, because the photo links are dead. That all. Everything else work liked a charm.

How would you guys sort out the back/home/start (the extra button) problem when modding a ps2 hrap to a 360 stick?
I usually don’t wire up the back button at all. I have yet to see a game that really uses that button as a function. So the top two buttons would be the Guide and start.

Okay, I’ve done a lot of reading on various threads and I cannot seem to find a solid answer for if the Hori HRAP2: SA will work will a Gamecube adapter, specifically the Cube Joybox Pro.

I’m using a HRAP2 SA + Joybox GC adapter to play TvC on my Wii and it has worked fine for me so far.
Do you know if there is a difference between the beige and black ones? I found a an eBay seller w/ the black ones for only $55.
Seems there is some different between HRAP3 and HRAP3SA. I think I’m getting one from http://akihabarashop.jp/ they had better price than play-asia, how ever they only has the HRAP2 SA in stock, question is HRAP2SA is for PS2, but some how they should get HRAP3SA too I hope…
Play StreetFighter with DualShock 3 is ok but to do these combos is pretty difficult…
