Around 10 I’d say… they ship quick you’ll probably get it before me. I have been looking for about a week these guys are the cheapest with shipping included that I have found in stock.
since they live in ny cant i just go pik it up? says there located in flushing. and thats pretty damn close to me lol. i been calling there number but they dont pik up. will call tommorow and see if i get any luck
If any of you don’t mind waiting a while for a HRAP 3. This site is taking pre-orders at a reduced price. $99.99 is the base price, with shipping my order came out to about 125 ish (They ship from the US). They are suppose to be in stock and will be shipped later this month, or early December. For the price, I really couldn’t say no, but the shipping was half that of play-asia. After it comes back in stock, they plan on charging 120.00 without shipping.
Hello everyone. I have a few questions. I just ordered a HRAP2SA, and I would like to use a dual PCB setup and wire it to a PC controller for PS3 and PC support. (First of all, is this idea practical? I am asking this because I could use a converter.) I am having problems choosing which controller pcb to use. I’ve thought of using a logitech precision, but I am not very experienced. It looks like I would have to use diodes. (The Logitech PCB from slagcoin’s website: http://www.slagcoin.com/joystick/pcb_diagrams/pc_diagram1.jpg)
Is there another cheap alternative that would be easier?
Just get an InPin converter from laugh. That’s the most practical solution.
Hey I know it says it can’t be done at the beginning of this thread but is there ANY way to get a Seimitsu stick into a HAPP 1 v.2? I’m not liking the Sanwa stick that much…
where can I find hori arcade stick for pc ? , is there a site for buy ?
so i just got the amazon exclusive hrap3 and the buttons on it kind of slide/wiggle around a bit, like they aren’t secured. from what the faq says, these aren’t screw in buttons (which would have solved my problem). so my question is, do hraps usually come this way, or did i get screwed with a manufacturing defect?
Yea, they usually come this way. Just don’t spin it around too much. You’ll twist up the wires. Sanwa/Seimitsu buttons don’t do this.
EDIT: Read the first post wrong, sorry.
Nevermind disregard thank you.
^Looks like an HRAP1

Wow that’s not a bad price for an SA, but that still doesn’t beat the VSHG that was being sold for around 90 dollars lol.
Well adding artwork to my hrap 3 and I wanted to place it under plexiglass my question is what is the thickness of plexiglass I should use so my sanwa snap ins still fit?
HRAP3 doesn’t have PCB problems though.
What’s the difference between the HORI fighting stick 3 and the Real Arcade Pro stick 3?
I’m a brand new noob when it comes to arcade sticks so i’m no enthusiast by any means of the word. I just want to get one for street fighter 4. Is there a MAJOR difference in terms of gameplay experience? Or is it something that only purists would consider?
I ask because I’m in the philippines and arcade sticks are EXTREMELY hard to find. I want to get the real arcade pro just because I’ve heard great things about it but the price difference will put a serious dent in my pocket=(
Thanks ahead of time.
Well, for one thing, the HRAP3 is bigger and generally more sturdy. Some people like larger cases because they move around less while playing, while others prefer smaller ones because they are lighter and easier to carry around.
The HRAP3 comes with a Sanwa JLF, which is pretty much the standard in Japanese arcades. The buttons are generic Hori buttons.
The Fighting Stick 3 comes with all Hori parts.
To answer your question, in terms of gameplay experience, there is no major difference. Most of it is stuff that only “purists” care about, and the general public wouldn’t notice much of a difference at all (but if you are posting here, you are already a step above the general public).
If you do plan to play fighting games for any significant period of time, you should invest in a good stick early on. It saves you money in the long run. I wasted money on two cheap sticks that both died within a year before I finally got a HRAP2 in 2006 (which I’m still using to this day, and am 100% satisfied with after putting in Sanwa buttons).
Also The HRAP’s are much easier to mod with good parts.
