Are the original buttons that bad that they need modding?
Actually, the HORI buttons aren’t that bad.
The hori buttons are not bad at all. They feel very similar to Seimetsu buttons.

i saw the texas dvd trailer and kindevu and bass have a HRAP but it does not seem like the original. what is that HRAP special idition or the original?
I only saw the original HRAP and the T5 HORI in that trailer.
in the minute 3:09 you cant see the HRAP of Kindevu and the mirror top is black not silver and the buttons line up look diferent

The one with the green buttons? That is the original HRAP. The button lining is correct, and that later released HRAPs have a darker mirror finish.

Where did you get your HRAP? Everyplace I’ve checked has been sold out for 2 months.
I feel stupid for not figuring out myself, but how do you set the buttons when you’re connecting a HRAP to a Magic Box to play SFAC?
The HRAP’s button layout is:
L1 [] /\ R1
L2 X O R2
With a Magic Box, that converts to:
White X Y Black
L A B R
The only buttons I can assign on SFII’s Button Config menu are X, Y, White, A, B, and Black. The L and R buttons aren’t on the menu and apparently aren’t assignable. As far as I can tell, that makes it impossible to get a button layout even remotely similar to the arcade’s. I know there are people here who use a HRAP + Magic Box combo to play SFIII on the Xbox, so could someone please help me out here?

What is the difference between the Sanwa JLF-SK that comes in the mirror top Hrap and the JLF-TP-8Y.
Would the JLF-TP-8Y be better for 2D fighters such as Street Fighter and Kof?
And could some1 explain the wiring that needs to be done in order to drop in Seimitsu LS-32 into the mirror hrap.
Seimitsu tutorial is on the first post, more information should be found in the forums. The JLF-TP-8Y-SK is just a version of the regular JLF made for Virtua Fighter. Though it’s more or less a regular JLF, and is perfectly fine for Capcom or SNK 2D fighters.
What is the special addition worth new in box?
I went to the site and used babelfish to translate. But it did a shitty job. Would any1 mine clearing the wiring section up and any other important faqs on there.
