are you sure it’s the same price? because i checked and no way are they the same… anyways T5 hori is better than hori fighting stick2 or what? im thinking about buying a good stick with about $80 budget… seems like the hori fighting stick2 is the best choice i have… unless someone else have any suggestions?

I’m talking about the American T5 HORI (HORI stick and HORI buttons). You can get those in the Tekken 5 bundle. The bundle is about $80-$90, and you get the game, the stick, and a dvd case. You can find the bundles at EB, Frys, Gamestop, etc. The game alone still sells for $49.99 at EB for some reason… so be a nice guy and sell it for 40. Bam, you just got yourself a nice moddable stick for $50.

Hi, guys… I owned a original HRAP and planning on getting another HRAP, say HRAP Special Addition or Special Edition…

But I can only choose one out of SA and SE…, so which one is worth getting? Which one is better? Sorry for noobs questions… I’d really appreciates if you guys can guide me… Thanks in advance…

They are not for sale anymore. If you know where to get it then get what suites you best, black (sanwa) or white (seimitsu).

I’ll try my luck getting them through TGS2005 coming this September…

I heard Seimitsu joystick/button is great for shooters, I wonder how it works for fighting game especially Tekken 5…

One thing I’m not sure is whether the Special Edition is being sold at TGS2005…, if only I understand what the japanese words in this link are saying…

The seimitsustick will not be sold at tokyogameshow, just the black sanwa (and the hrap2). You can order it there and they ship it home to you (if you live in Japan).

So since I don’t own a HRAP yet I want to know if you guys think this one will be like the classic mirror top HRAP that is sold out (and probably for good). I know there has been special editons of these sticks with every new fighting game that comes out it seems. **Have all of the japanese special edition HRAP been exactly the same as the original mirror top HRAP like how lik-sang describes on their site? ** I’d like to know because I’ll probably purchase this SCIII SE HRAP in Nov but only if it meets the same stanards of quality that the mirror top one does.

Also does the smartjoy plus work with HRAPs?

Sorry if this sort of question has been asked before. Things can get a little confusing for stick noobs like me.

Judging from the look and the past hori soul cal stick (Soul Calibur II stick)… i think that’s gonna be like the Tekken 5 stick… buttons soldere’d to the pcb… no turbo switches.

It looks real nice tho

well i got my stick in today!
and it works good look’s like the stick is not the best one… but that’s replacible with the Sawna parts:tup:

A friend of mine bought a HORI stick that looked like that. Turbo switches, start, and select button was on the lower middle area of the stick. Still sucked. Buttons were firm to the press, stick wasnt very responsive, and the balltop was small. Not to mention, it was really light, so it moved around ALOT during play, if you put it on your lap. Small size + small balltop = not cool for a 6’ guy with large hands. =/
