Hey, does anyone know if you can swap the joystick easily on a hori real arcade 3 from stock to semitsu? Thinking about buying it.
IIRC, the HRAP3 uses the same plate as the HRAP1 Ver. B, so putting in a Seimitsu will be a bitch, if its even possible.
I tried it offline-it is the same shit.I will have to pay a very big money stuff to send it back to France and get a new one-about $ 85…I mean you cannot even get a quick combo with this, but, as long as all buttons and stick works in Control Panel-Game controllers…What shall I do…I doubt it if they will change it for me…
Where in France did you order it ? I couldn’t find a store selling it here…
Don’t know if this is the right place to put this, but I in case there’s anyone interested these just got posted not too long ago:
Don’t know if the seller is reliable or not, but best of luck to those who are interested!
Do you want to buy mine, it is brand new?Send me a private message.Help me, men, is it just the stick is different, I have been using x-arcade type (HAPP) for 10 year, is this the problem?I will get a SAULABI, maybe?Dont laugh at me, but I think the stick is not as good as the x-arcade.I do not want to spend years to get used to the Japanese sticks.Allright, even if SANWA is the best, it still clicks like microswitches, what makes it better than HAPP or FANTA?
I gather this is a little late, but if you’re going to slap in a Dual Shock PCB then why not just use the VSHG instead, if MaybeMemories’s game is the prospect of swapping in an LS-32 (At least I haven’t seen the possibility of this swap ruled out, although Paik4Life’s old photos of the VSHG’s interior seem to be gone)? Plus it’s cheaper and looks pretty.
Granted, I already know one answer to that question and that is the issue of potentially not enough wrist room on the VSHG.
Is this shitty SANWA stick replaceable?I want to replace it for a Fanta or Happ stick. Is this possible on the HRAP 3?
Yes, but it’ll take quite a bit of case modding. Good luck with that
Did you try a octagonal gate, and a bat top, yet?
What do you mean? I do not understand… what do I have to do? Do not laugh, but this is the worst stick ever, I do not have years to spare to get used to it…I have won over a hundred tournaments on a real arcade machine, at the neighbourhood, I have no desire for this light stick.Gosh, even double tap reverse+sigle tap forward fails, when done fast!Would anyone be so kind to tell me what to do…So I need to change the top of the stick, in order to look as a HAPP-based stick, is that it?And what is an octagonal gate? I am sorry for not being a native english speaker…
P.S See what a gamer says on domino forum:
“Bat tops on a Sanwa stick are NOT recommended – the sticks aren’t designed for the extra length/leverage, and end up feeling lightweight and mushy as a result. If you want a bat-top stick you’re best off with a Happ / Mag-Stik.”
?!?!
Does any one know where I can buy an Arcana HRAP or an HRAP1.
play-asia is sold out.
Those are the button layouts I’m looking for and can’t find either ot these anywhere.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Ernie.

Actually, not too long ago, I don’t remember there being the HRAP2 there, even though production was resumed. But now they have both. If the HRAP2 is your game, eBay is probably a cheaper bet (because I believe those prices above are not shipped) but for that you better get your ass in gear because the prices (and by that I mean the sum of Buy It Now prices and the respective sellers’ shipping charges) seem to be climbing.
This may be sort of a novice’s piece of advice, but if you do consider eBay, watch out for internation tariffs and fees, because the buyer is usually responsible and they may run you more than the shipping. To give you an index, I paid around 30 dollars Canadian for shipping, and then a separate 42.11 Canadian dollars’ worth of COD.
Thanks bro,
You just made my day. If I could give you rep I would. You rock !
CAN someone tell me how take the turbo switch panel and ps2 cord out of the hrap case
i disconnected my stick and buttons and the wires run to the turbo switch panel, which then has another set of wires coming out of the turbo switch panel that turn into the ps2 cord
the wires from the stick and buttons are glued onto the turbo panel, but the wires from the ps2 cord are connected to some white thing…is this white thing like the connector on the stick ???
the hole in the case the ps2 cord runs through is too small for the end of the ps2 cord to go through so how can i get the cord out ??? of the hrap
Is it possible (and how) to get rid of this absolute junk SANWA and put in a HAPP COMPETITION into the HRAP 3? And would this fit into the HRAP 3- http://www.starcab.net/product_info.php?products_id=115 .Which SANWA/Seimitsu stick is closest to the stiff HAPP stick?
I’d suggest selling the HRAP3 stick and buying a HAPP stick.
Which one?Slikstik?X-arcade is too expensive and has so many issues, MAS too…Which one would you recommend? http://www.slikstik.com/webstore/webstore.asp?productid=SSCP5&category=79
Although the X-Arcade does suck, you CAN do this…
It might be a little more from you since you don’t live in America, but might be a cheaper option
i have and HRAP 3 and want to switch out the PCB so i can play it on PS2??? is there any way i can do this…i don’t really know were any kind of information is on this so any help on how to do this would be great…
