Hori FS-2 buttons are Sanwa or Hori? Or is that the same as HARP 2?

I’ve never heard of HRAP3 going to 360, but meh, I could be wrong.
ps3 had Tekken 5:DR (which hori has supported before with the hrap knock off) and Virtual Fighter 5.

So my next project (maybe delaying my actual custom to do this, since I’m fucked on wiring for the real one) is to mod the T5. I’m wondering if there is any solid explanation for how I should be getting new artwork on there…
Yes, I realize the optimal solution is just to play PS2 games on a PS2, but with that in mind:
While operation with the HRAP3 is flawless with PS3 software and on a PC, when playing PS2 software, random inputs will be sent to the game (usually “up” commands, but other joystick presses, as well as any of the buttons - including the PS button - are not uncommon). At least a couple of other people mentioned having the same problem (and both of my HRAP3s do it), across multiple PS2 games, so I want to assume it’s the PS3 firmware’s fault. Is this only a recent issue? Say 1.9x? A lot of folks mentioned that the HRAP3 worked fine around 1.8x, so I’d like to think this problem didn’t exist then. I realize very few of you folks are actually using a PS3 for PS2 games, but if you are, have you had this problem as well? If so, only on the HRAP3 or with other sticks as well?
The main point of this post is that I’m thinking of getting an HRAP2 and a Pelican converter, so I can take a stick to other people’s houses, etc. and so I can play PS2 games on my PS3 until (if/when) Sony decides to fix this. I know a lot of folks have posted previously that the HRAP2/Pelican combo works perfectly on the PS3, but can anyone confirm that this still works correctly with PS2 software as of the 1.93 firmware update? If it has the same problems as the HRAP3, for example, it’s kind of pointless for me. I’m a little paranoid about fronting more money to have it still not work out.

Not really for this thread but, if you guys really want Sony to make the fixes needed so 2D games or other games (such as Music games) run without any lag or problems is to email them about it on the Official Playstation site. There is a section there where you can email them suggestions or ask them to fix things wrong with the current firmware.
You know they actually do listen to the consumer err gamer, a lot of the Firmware updates were suggestions made by gamers who sent in queries regarding them.
And since most gamers do not play 2D fighting games, and play other genres more (which for the most part run a lot better on the PS3 than they do on the PS2), most don’t really see anything needed to be updated. And if they do want something fixed (such as FFXII’s jaggity jaggy jags at PS3 launch), they report it and then Sony addresses the issue with a fix.
If I knew all the details on what is needed to be fixed for better compatibility with the 2D fighters, I would have probably sent in a query long ago. So for any of you who know what the exact problems are, you should probably go tell Sony yourself about them.
I actually sent them an email before I wrote my post. When they finally got back to me, they told me it would be better to call them, and also gave me a bunch of links to stuff like the PS3 Online User Guide (“We also have additional resources that may assist you with your PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system.” …yay). Since it’s a problem that can only be solved through a firmware update, I don’t see how banging my head trying to explain the problem any clearer on the phone is going to help. It’s not like they are going to talk me through how to write my own firmware update to the PS3. >.>

you can fit lexan atop the stick too, but only if you are using screw in buttons coz they will not accommodate snap-ins.

the arcades I got to all have square gates on their cabs, and I bought me an octagonal one for my T5 mod just in case, I’m debating which gate to use.
If you want to emulate the arcade experience, pick square. Otherwise, go with what you like more.
Wow… freakin’ Arcana Heart Limited Edition HRAP2 sold out hard on play-asia! I couldn’t even get a pre-order in (as they apparently filled them all), so I waited… now it’s listed as out of print / out of stock. Anyone know if these are going to resurface at all, or where I can pruchase a regular HRAP2?

I was hoping to snag one of the Arcana Heart sticks too.
I actually just put in an order for another HRAP2 from a guy on another site who had to use VGC,http://store.videogamecentral.com/ps2horiarcadestick.html, due to problems with a dropshipper; the site had listed the ETA for shipping to be the 8th, but they’re supposedly just getting 'em out today due to problems in customs or something. They say it should be here sometime early next week, but I’m still waiting on confirmation that it’s been shipped and my tracking info…
Guess we’ll see how that goes…
