i got mine from play-asia
you should be able to put happ buttons on a hrap. i put them on a t5 stick before

the space gets a little cramped with the t5 stick because of the bigass pcb, but since the hrap uses wires instead of soldering directly to the board it should be much eaiser
Why not build a test panel ( just the cp top) out of hard board and order some sanwa parts from ponyboy on BYOAC just to see if you like it? Cheaper than buying an HRAP for sure, and if you end up not liking the feel of the sanwas you could always sell them in the trading forum. Peoples likes dems sanwas.
Peace.

Is it possible to put ART on my HRAP 1, you know, replacing the mirror plate that I have on it now?
Just get your design printed on adheasive backed vinyl.
good idea I might go for it.
you SURE its a real sanwa ?? cuz your stick is teh suck !! :annoy: I swear it was a lot different than the one smooth had at ECC. anyway…you can design your artwork and have mamemarquees.com print it on protective vinyl. that shit is top tier…scratch resistent and everything…almost like a very thin layer of plexi glass.
Yes it’s Sanwa, exact same thing as Smooth’s.
Mine’s HRAP 1, I think they have HRAP2, not sure, don’t think there’s a difference.
;p
is that competition push buttons?
I know this thread is very long but I intend to mod a CFJ RAP with pure Semitsu parts. Somebody from another forum suggested me to get a LS55-01 but not too sure about that since I thought I would love to get the LS32-01 like all of the serious SFers? The seller said that he would include the Sanwa like plugs so I can just disconnect the cable to use with my RAP v1.
Are Semetisu buttons harder to install than Sanwas on the RAP 1? I finally got SFZ:FG and I want to play some hardcore arcade styled SF once in my life.
so I got a hrap1 from lik-sang. questions :
I fitted a battop and I have 2 dust washer. do I need to use both or ?? I took out the one that was inside and now the stick works little better.
it doesnt work with any xbox converter. and the faq says it works with dragon box…is it 100% lag free ? ? can someone confirm.
whats with all these gates I hear about ? what gate does hrap1 comes with and whats the differnece between all the other gates(octagonal and such)
thanks in advance ! :tup::nunchuck:
bump fore its too late
Has anyone got the dimensions for a hrap? Im making a wooden version
Ok, so a friend put in some orange Sanwa buttons into my HRAP v1, and changed the balltop. Feels great, but now I still want to finish it up.
-
I need to ‘plug’ those first two buttons as I don’t even use them. I was originally going to keep them for KoF play, but now even KoF has changed its button scheme.
-
I’m missing a bolt (guess he lost it) in the upper left hand corner, can I just pick it up at Home Depot to replace it? I still have the washer / nut oddly enough.
-
Ok, now I want to get rid of the metal plate and put some art on there. Do I need to get lexan do this? What does the art need be printed on if I need to get lexan?
Thanks to anyone who can help me out ;D!
sorry to drudge up an old topic,
can anyone recommend me a ps2->xbox adapater for the HRAP2 that is currently available? I’ve read many good things about the magicbox, however it appears to be out of stock whereever I look. there was one post recommending the redoctane converter. anyone else have experience with that?
also, can anyone link me to the innovation adapater on ebay so I know what it looks like? the link to the auction posted earlier is too old.
thanks for any help
Hey guys, just a few questions, I can screw this on the shaft of a JLF sanwa (stock Hrap ver 2)?

And there is absolutely no way to change the stick to a seimitsu LS-32?? (remember HRAP 1 ver. 2)
I’m trying to hook my hacked PSOne pad to a 5 pin connector but I’m not sure how it’s calibrated. Ie, which the ground is etc. Can someone list which goes where from 1-5? Ie, 1-up, 2-down, 3-left, 4-right, 5-ground.
Exactly when is the HORI REAL ARCADE PRO SPECIAL EDITION coming out?
So…has anyone figured out if something other than the Wind Spirit works as a USB adapter. Because I can’t seem to find one for the life of me.
The Radioshack USB adapter works fine. Only costs $10. That is, if thats the question you asked?
ok, I have one of those, but for some odd reason I have to be incredibly precise with all of my games. As for when I play it on the PS2, it seems to be a little more lax. Oh well, I’ll just have to get used to it.
