This stick is heavenly with SF4. I managed to order another one last week before they sold out. In light of all the problems people seem to be having with the Madcatz sticks this seems to be the one to own (for Xbox users).
yeah sold! even though I actually dont need one…already have 2 single sticks and a cabinet lol…
In comparison to the OBSF-30 they are clickier, not as soft, and have a less convex face. They are more flat. Some people may like them because they have more resistance to depress.

Any word if they are going to have a US release like the HRAP EX?

The clear plastic on top of the board is blistering quite badly. Should I just tear it all off or is there a good reason to leave it on?
Take it off…It is just the protective covering they use, just like when you buy a new stop watch or wrist watch that has the plastic protective film you remove.
is ncsx the only place to get this? if so should i just get the real arcade pro ex and just get sanwa buttons put in?
I don’t know where you can still get this stick. But I have to say the more I use it the more I love it.
FYI, Hori just posted a notice on their online store saying they will be getting more stock in from March - happy days! If you want a quality stick with zero problems/hassles then do what you can to get it. be quick though, I imagine demand will be through the roof.

I had e-mailed Hori re: the possibility of a US release of the HRAP EX-SE. Here is their response:

Disappointing indeed. So I guess the only way a US gamer who wasn’t lucky enough to preorder can have a HRAP for 360 with a Seimitsu stick is to mod a HRAP EX. Would love to see a detailed tutorial on switching out a stick in HRAP EX, adding QD’s etc. Anyone?

I live in Japan and I can speak Japanese, yeah. The site isn’t difficult to navigate, you just need to enter your name and postal address. They can only ship inside Japan though and they only accept COD, Webmoney (Japan only maybe) and bank deposits as payment.

Can anyone who owns the HRAP EX SE take a good picture of it with the top plate off and get a good picture of the threads that hold down the six hex bolts? I’m trying to mod my HRAP EX to open from the top and I want to see how Hori did it. Another guy modded his with threaded inserts but I looked at every picture I could find that people posted of the insides and I can’t get a good look at the threads.
