First time poster, hello everyone. I managed to get my order in just before they closed preorders. I’m in Japan so the price is actually quite good, 13500yen for an all Seimitsu-parts stick is not bad considering the regular HRAP EX is going for 12000yen. I’m disappointed I didn’t order two because it looks like there won’t be anymore made (at least for a while). My stick arrives on February 9th, I will post an unboxing video if anyone is interested.
Wahou ! lucky you !
If you can make an unboxing video, it will be great !
The stick looks nice, I’ve never used a seimitsu stick so I don’t know how well those fare
Fantastic, I can’t wait!
No worries then! I’m thinking now of modding a HRAP EX stick if I can find one for under 10000yen, according to a mate here you need only pop the buttons off and replace them with ones you want. I’ve never used a Seimitsu stick before either but if it is as good as I hope I’ll go for Seimitsu buttons as well.
Wow that looks cool.
this stick is beautiful. I love my HRAP EX to death but this SE model is calling my name!
Im getting lucky my store is shipping a hrap ex to sell to me on discount lol and no shipping fee. So i would pick a se but im getting a harp ex for 120.:lovin:
You can now buy the sticks again if you’re quick! They must have had extra stock after the initial preorders.
Not really my cup of tea, the look alone on the TE is a lot more appealing to me, along with the TE button layout.
What’s all this talk about seimitsu though? Seimitsu > Sanwa?
they are considered equals on this forum, although sanwa is slightly more widely used and slightly more expensive.

Theres the insides.
Maybe not the nicest insides but I think it will be worth some big money in a not so distant future.
I have one coming to me next week via NCS. I was going to order one from RealNeoGeo’s Akihibarashop, but the last stick I ordered from them - a HRAP3:SA - arrived with a bent up outer box. No offense to Per intended, but my experience with NCS has shown they pack items extremely well, and I’m hoping the HRAP EX:SE arrives with a box in better shape.
Do I understand that picture of the innards correctly - the stick is soldered in? Not a biggie if one intends to replace it, which I won’t unless the stick wears out. It’s nothing a soldering iron and a half hour won’t be able to tackle.
so, these things are coming from ncsx next week. did you get that straight from ncsx. they told me 02/05/09 and i have been waiting to hear from them. then again, they haven’t charged my card yet so all is well.
NCS gave a status update on the SE shipments this morning on their website -
Here is the unboxing as promised. I made a view gaffes, I was pretty out of it this morning (getting over a terrible flu). In particular I thought the clips on the side of the stick were for the cable but they are actually for your headphones - I should have read the instructions more carefully If there are any questions let me know, will post hi-res pictures if anyone wants them.

It’s a awesome stick, I love mine
how do these buttons compare to the Sanwa OSBF-30 and the Seimitsu PS-14-KN?
