I got mine dual modded. 
Nothing special besides my Galaxy Note’s cellphone camera but thanks! Not sure if it’ll work on a PC (I’m not a PC gamer) but I’m assuming it does if other sticks in the current Hori lineup is compatible. Happ/iL buttons won’t work since they’re ~28mm (these Sanwa/Seimitsu buttons are 30mm besides the 24mm Start button) & not sure if they Suzo 500 will fit.
No clue on how long it’ll be available. From what I remember (but don’t quote me), the last couple Amazon exclusive sticks (V3-SE, V3-SA purple & white HRAP3) lasted ~6 - 9 months on Amazon Japan’s site. Hori usually doesn’t say how long & also how many are going to be produced (unlike Madcatz). They only tell you when it’s no longer in production so if I were you, I’d jump on it when you can especially since December’s the most popular month to buy anything due to X-mas.

I’m gonna dual mod my diamond vlx, and trying to keep the daughter board LED’s working.
Unless if I see them in person; otherwise, It is hard to decide cause both looks equally good from the picture. IMO, VLX always looks gorgeous whichever way you mod ;). I also especially like your blue balltop on the VLX diamond. Super Gorgeous !
