I preordered this from Amazon, when the release date was set for today (10/22/2014). It hasn’t shipped and now the V4’s page says “Temporarily Out of Stock.” Is anyone else in the same boat?

Check on your order status. Just because the page reads Sold Out does not mean you are SOL.
Amazon themselves are really good about customer service and customer satisfaction.
If you buy from a 3rd party on Amazon, it could be another matter BUT Amazon does guarantees all of the sales on their site.
Amazon customer dispute system is even better than eBay’s who always side with the customer.
So worst case scenario contact Amazon and they either ship you your stick or with a heartfelt apology refund your money.

Same. I contacted them, they said it was back-ordered and couldn’t give me an answer as to when they would be getting new stock. However, they did apologise and upgrade me from standard international shipping to Priority International at no extra charge, which is nice.
I only signed up after seeing this thread. I had mine pre-ordered since July 15th. I was getting annoyed when they kept pushing the release back but seeing it listed as out of stock and not getting it shipped to me sent me in a mini rage. I’m guessing Hori didn’t send Amazon any stock.
Maybe I’ll get a TE2 instead…

I considered that, but with the added shipping costs, it might be worth it just to wait for TE2. Or just be have a little patience and wait until Amazon gets some stock. I mean its not like the PS4 is swimming in fighting games at the moment.
