Every night, I look at my Hsticks and cri evrytiem…

Wow @NotANoob81 that looks beautiful!!
jaquio,
I have no problems with diagonals on the Hayabusa. I have stated it before that it is more responsive than the JLF. I’ve been using JLF for years and did not have any problems adapting to the Hayabusa.
I’ve come to the conclusion that chaoslimits’ issue spawns from execution.
The throw being longer than JLF is a non-issue, it’s only .5 mm which isn’t a big deal. What makes it faster is the v-cam housing.
I know, actually i’m talking about tastylumpia’s saying.
Cool, keep going.

Right. Since less of the bushing contacts the pivot cup there is 15% less resistance than your standard joystick pivot design. At least that was the way that I interpreted it.
You guys are so defensive of the Hstick. I’ve repeatedly said that it’s MY issue and have even walked my description of it as a “problem with the stick”. A small, obviously failed, attempt at self-deprecating humor and the pitchforks come out.
Carry on…

I’m not being defensive. There was no evidence that it had anything to do with the hardware itself. I was just getting that out there.
Edit: Hopefully we can still be friends

I’m not offended lol. Although I am frustrated that the Hstick and JLF are so similar but I’m stuck in JLF land even though I like Hstick more…
Waiting, fingers crossed, for Moonchilde’s gates.
chaoslimits,
Not sure what to tell you. Maybe you are thinking too much about the JLF is this or that when using the Hayabusa. I seriously do not have any problems with diagonals and I am not defending the Hayabusa stick to death. I’m just stating my experiences.
Maybe stick with the Hayabusa since you like it better. Going back and forth and comparing once you miss a diagonal will just keep your dilemma longer hehe.
Put your JLF sticks away and stick with the Hayabusa for now. Weird thing is I went back to my atrox stick with JLF two days ago and I was missing inputs. Played with it for an hour and I was able to adapt no problem. I can’t stand the mushy laggy feeling of the JLF though. The Hayabusa is more responsive for me at least. I can tell the difference right away.
I finally installed my Hayabusa.
Didn’t have a spare casing to use it, so I took out the JLF in the Sanwa panel to my ABS Modular Stick.
Though I normally use an LS-32, I did make an effort to play a bit on the JLF that was there prior to installing the Hayabusa just to get a “better feel” in the comparison.
I gotta say, I really do like the Hayabusa. The pivot is SO smooth. Tested it playing some Super Turbo.
Gonna try it around a bit more after I take out the balltop; I’m normally a bat-top kind of guy. Gonna swap one in to see how that feels.

I don’t want to suggest that there’s something wrong with the Hstick. Just trying to sort out my issue. It was my main tournament lever for just over 6 months till I got pissed at missing electrics and getting forward dash. Either way, I’m jealous of you guys ;-;
JLF and Hayabusa are nearly identical, other than the Hayabusa having higher quality parts plus the pivot design. I’m not sure what’s causing Chaos’ problems but if he can play on a JLF he should be able to play on Hayabusa. He might have been unlucky and got 2 bad sticks

At this point, I doubt that. I played on my friends FE at SCR (that’s now a total of 3) and had the same issues. Unless the Hsticks that come in Fighting Edges (all 3) are different from the ones sold separately…
chaoslimits,
I use the FE.

chaoslimits,
I use the FE.
That’s why I said that I doubt that it’s something “wrong” with the stick…
If the JLF works for you and the H doesn’t, just cash in on your H sticks while the demand is high.

I completely agree with this. Sell them now while Hori is out of stock. There was someone in the European order thread, send him a PM and see if he’ll buy it. I would go back to JLF at this point, 3 sticks can’t all be bad, must be one of those personal incompatibilities going on.
