US, Japan, Mainland Asia.
If you want it bad enough there ways to order those sticks on the internet.
Some US vendors are willing to ship to Canada, Also you have Play Asia, eBay, and as a last resort measure Yahoo Auctions Japan (get ready for bank transfers)
I canāt quite tell you as my results will be skewed as I live in the US not Canada.
Worst case scenario you have someone you know in the US or Japan to be your middle man and buy it for you.
You wire them the money, they order and buy the stick and send the stick to you.
You will be eating all the tax and shipping cost and a finders fee for their time and efforts.
Iāve narrowed my research down to three sticks in the $200 price range (of which the new Fighting Edge is one). What are some drawbacks to having this stick say over a Eightarc or a VS Pro from Madcatz?
I knew that, but I donāt mind paying the extra cash to have the White FE dual-modded. I run XBox 360s for all of my stuff (all area tournaments, including mine are 360) save for a couple of games, so naturally Iād be picking up a 360 FE.
I want to point out that Eightarc and Qanba *Dual-Mode Sticks are Grey Market items.
They are not licensed by either Sony or Microsoft. Its Why you see no Dual-Mode Hori or Mad Catz Sticks.
*Dual-Mode- I Call the Eightarc a Dual-mode and not Dual-Mod as there no Mod to be had. No one went in and modify the stick beyond its factory design to install compatibility for an additional system.
Well Older models have actually 2 PCBs sandwiched together, newer dual-mode may or may not have the 2 PCBs.
The word Mod implies someone (end user) had physically or electronically modified the stick beyond manufacturers specifications.
How noticeable are the fingerprints on the white one? Iāve gone with the black one for now (Iād rather see the grime and wipe it than not see it)? I may try to sell it and get the white one.
