Yeah. I ain’t sure how good it’s for a long period of time or for tournaments. But for my casual playtime (Married life lol ) it’s been great.I also always used to play COD with my wired 360 controller, I also can remap the buttons to fit my gameplay and as far I can remember I never had a problem playing with it for a longer period of time. I’m just sharing whatever it’s working for me.Plus those kinda of XCM adapter are price and not worth the risk in buying unless you find for a good price or have many Controllers/Sticks in General for Xbox 360 and want to use on the Ps3. I’m just glad that all the features from the FE it’s working as well on Ps3.
I ordered my FE on Monday. Still haven’t received a tracking number or anything. How long did it take for you guys to get yours from the time of order?
I ordered my ps3 one on the 16th, it came on the 23rd. UPS ground. Check your spam folders. My shipping info was emailed tow on the 17th.
Is is possible to dual mod the hori fighting edge? I had a 360 stick and simply put in Toodles Kitty board. Is there anything like that or anyone have experience with the board inside.
Thinking the tech guys are finding a way around it without developing a PCB kit specially designed for it. As for myself, Canada still has no official way of obtaining one except through middleman services, mine came in yesterday and I got the 360 version…had to make the best of it with the rainbow colored buttons by swapping the skeletons around with the plungers and rewired the buttons to the universal layout
I thought you could order direct off the horiusa site and have it shipped to usa or canada. I had to order my two through priceusa to get them to me in australia.
So if your house was on fire and you could only grab one which would be the vlx or the edge
Hori Shop US only ships within the United States and not North America unfortunately.
That is unpossible because I will have my VLX in my Travel Bag so in worst case scenario, wrap the handles of the travel bag around any limb on my body, grab the FE by one side and run the hell outta there haha.
But a greater question would be what would I grab in my room if there were a fire. It’s a tough choice considering that I have 100+ anime figures and that one 1:6 scale Max Factory Morrigan figure is worth anywhere from $600 to $1000 USD on eBay. My VLX since it’s dual modded and customized could possibly be worth $450+?
Damn thats a lot of plastic if something bad like that did happen you probably wouldn’t able to leave trying to save everything in turn you would be engulfed in plastic preserving you for eternity as life size anime figure
I’m opening a business soon, they will be moved over there for display purposes and insured~
Are those naked Yokos I see?
lol, there’s one huge naked Yoko on the left side but her “naughty bits” are covered by bunny costume Yoko
Here’s a closer look d3v.
So aside from the stick/buttons, how’s the feel of the stick case? Read it’s heavy duty plastic, was not really a fan of the the V3 series, they felt too light and hollow. How is the FE on the solidness spectrum of sticks?
They feel pretty solid, to me. I think I know what you mean about the V3.
The FE is solid because of it’s construction, it’s not like the HRAP V series where it’s just a single mold for the case then two metal plates. The FE has several pieces put together held down by screws like how the handle areas are probably comprised of 2 - 3 parts.
It’s available in Canada now through amazon.ca, FYI.
Just got my FE in the mail. Man this thing is nice. I only had a few min to play some AE on it but it felt so good. Have to say that the buttons and stick took some getting used to but after I did it was butter. They are different than Sanwa for sure. The stick feels looser than the JLF too. I can tell the buttons are a little more shallow than the Sanwa’s but respond nicely. If you push a Sanwa button all the way down the plunger goes below the shell but with the Kuro’s it is flush.
Question for those that already have it. Have you noticed that the stick feels like it pulls up a little when you are in a DB position? Seems like the spring is a little softer than the JLF and I can pull up on it easily. Seems like it does it when I DB, like it pulls up and my hand moves. Kinda weird and feels chanky. Wanted to know if anyone else has this issue or if I need to get Hori on it.
is this stick available at any retail store, like fry’s or gamestop? it seems like I can only get it online
I think that’s how the stick is designed, the spring or tension of the stick might not be as tight but from what I’ve experienced, it’s more precise than a JLF…The pull back feeling of the stick reminds me of the LS-32 where it has a common trait of pivoting or popping but I think that’s where the V-shape cam comes in effect.
Sad that Amazon.ca has the FE now since I probably paid $50 more to get it early but I love the FE and it was totally worth it lol
Now to wait for a solid dual mod solution.
Cool cool. Just wanted to make sure. It’s not a big deal and I will adjust to it. Thanks for the info.
