Oooh bummer, I was hoping for it to auto detect which would easily make it the best for pad hacking. I might buy it to use as a controller when it hits US Amazon. I’m spoiled by prime shipping Thanks for the reply.
would it be worth waiting for the new fc4 that has x input or just get the current fc4 to padhack? I don’t game on pc since I only have a crappy laptop but next year I will get one and will probably use it.
I have a question about the shoulder buttons of the Hori Fighting Commander. Can you use all 4 of them in SFV ingame? I want to put VS & VT & PPP & KKK on those 4, but the shoulder switch makes it sound like you have to choose a side. Can someone clarify? Other wise that thing looks really good.
i’ve been using this a lot more now sf5 is out. despite the fact i’m struggling getting used to the 6 face button layout (i’m used to 4), i really like this pad for sf5. only issue for me with the dpad is that i fuck up srk motion a little bit on one side but i’m getting better with it now.
no is the answer but it’s the games fault and not the controllers. if you could assign inputs to l3 and r3 it would work but the game won’t let you do that because those buttons are tied to menu options when in training mode.
i will let you know this though - in this game, 3p and 3k together usually does a taunt right? however, if you cancel a normal into taunt, you’ll actually get a v-trigger, so it’s basically a v-trigger option select. this good for some characters who want to activate v-trigger in combos (bison for example) but not so good for characters that will want to raw v-trigger (nash/vega).
I just got the hori mini 4 but i kinda regret it i should of went with Mad catz SFv alpha stick its about same size And not much more or is the hori better?
there’s pros and cons, their mini is super cheap but the joystick is kinda bad. its ok for someone that’s never played stick ever or for years. my bro came over the other day and he had not played in years and all his inputs came out the way he wanted then.
the alpha looks a little better but it’s $80 but at least you can change the parts, I doubt you can do the same with the mini. but $40 for that mini is pretty damn good for player 2.
the same as the dpad on this? Without the obvious option to adjust it to your tastes.
I’m having issues with the dpad on the first pad. I feel like every 15 or so booms/hadoukens, I’ll get one where it totally doesn’t register the down forward and then I just whiff a normal into death. I’m wondering if I might be able to mod the dpad and put a material that feels better made in there.
