I’ll add it next time I can get to a computer. I don’t know but it looks to me as if that would lag QUITE a bit more than the main guide here. Thoughts?
Shes normally pretty good w/r/t this, it sucks that there was some lapse =/
I ordered EVERYTHING (I really hope that VGA switch is perfect because that’s the only thing with audio for under 80 bucks). I am going to personally see if this works for me. Ill be testing everything up there except chaining SCART switches (because as it turns out I only have 4 consoles that use SCART).
It’s all good. It should be here today. Still beats having it shipped overseas.
She’s also a hell of a lot better than The Electric Quarter from ebay. I ordered saturn cables from them twice s-video a year ago had to get a refund but I thought it was because they were on vacation and then this last time I order a scart cable for saturn and then decides to switch business models and would not respond to emails so I had to file with paypal
I think somebody heavily edited the last page or so. Needs more zapf.

Really cause I thought it need more ud
Cool. Just for the record I’ve had people that take over a week to ship. It’s an annoyance but I still leave positive feedback. The only reason I felt entitled to whine were the 24 hour graphics. I’m also just really hard up to give the component a go. I’ll post back with impressions this afternoon.
Waiting has been the hardest part. Definitely can relate.
It’s so pretty my eyes are bleeding with happiness! The SCART setup is totally worth the monies.
The best tip I found on these is that you can use standard composite (yellow/red/white) cables to substitute for the three component video cables. That was genius.
The only difference in the cables are the color on the end plugs, its to help people match up the correct color plugs to the correct color ports.
It’s just that I’d had never known this were it not mentioned on a review I read. I would have went out and bought another set of component cables instead of using 1 of 12 AV cables I have in storage.
I can safely say that the SCART upgrade is the nicest things you can do for your Genesis or SNES. Your old buddy deserves it.
Finally, after playing some Super Mario All-Stars I’m less upset over the NES not doing RGB. Maybe at some point I’ll shell out enough to get that sorted.
I just spoke with her about her SCART RGB to RGBS cable http://www.ebay.com/itm/SCART-RGB-RGBS-cable-RGB-CGA-EGA-YUV-VGA-converter-Genesis-SNES-Sega-/160692899568?pt=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item256a0b0ef0#ht_2912wt_1035
She told me that she uses the EL1883ISZ chip instead of the LM1881 that the sync strike uses because it uses lower voltage and better suited for the GBS scaler is anyone else familiar with this chip?
It was discussed in the sync strike thread on shmups forum I think. It should work the same.
Will that work with the XRGB or does that PCB cable need to be plugged in?
I dont think it pulls power from the scart, from my talking with her. So you’ll need some way of powering via that cable some other way.
I seriously looking into the whole RGB business
As I lack a TV with a scart connector, which accessory you think works better
Scart to Componet
Scart to VGA
Scart to hdmi
vga or component
hdmi could lead to more processing which could lead to more lag
I never like to go from analog to digital
I think on my HDTV the VGA bypassed post processing
