You know what? I played Mgear on GGPO and streaked him with my Alex. So you’re point is that a shitty player picks top tier and loses to a low tier being used by probably one of the best tournament players in North America? Nigga please.

Some of you guys are too nice. The people who complain about Chun Li are SOFT and LAZY. Thats why they complain about the character.

They dont want to take the time to learn whats necessary to compete against the character. It actually takes time and work to stand a chance against a a good Chun li player…so lets just nerf the bitch and make the softees happy.

i like fighting against a good chun because of the challenge. Let me see Face again and it’s on!! If I ever get the pleasure of playing Ryan in 3S i want that chun all day. win or lose you’ll at least learn something

On a random day you’ll go into ggpo and see Nica or Metric in the lobby. Think any of these softees will hit em up and ask for a set with them using chun,yun or ken to improve on the matchup? No. and thats the real problem. its not the characters but the players

Yeah I’ve played Nica and Daemon. Been smacked around but in a good way. I talked to Nica afterwards and he gave me some insight and explained a few things and what worked and what didn’t and why. He’s a really nice guy overall, no one should be scared to play him. It saddens me to think people would avoid great players just because their egos are that huge and fragile that they can’t handle losing a lot.

Toughen up people, they have a lot to teach you and as long as you’re not an ass at least Nica has no problem explaining things and helping you out. They’re willing to help you, take advantage of it.

I’ve said it before but I love to play against better players. Especially when I get owned over and over. This is what makes you better.

I’ve spent an embaressing amount of money playing against the best.

Exactly, the only way you can get better is by losing over and over and over and over and over until eventually you figure out what does and doesn’t work. If you can’t take losing, gtfo.

i remember when Amir was in NY everyone got together to work on the Chun matchup, same with Gootecks coming to Sinsation and Issei when he first got to NY. Hell the few times i went to C3 tournies in virginia i had long ass crack sessions with Justin with him only using Chun. (Cuz exodus liked to go through brackets using Chun lol)

imagine if all the complainers actually decided to work on their problem matchups. US 3rd strike would be beautiful

I think he meant mid-tier players, like people that normally aren’t under the spotlight but are godlike. Ie Sugiyama vs Daigo.
It’s too bad Sugiyama and ksk got kicked out early when they came.

Lol, this guy. You got 2-3 wins versus a character I don’t use. I find it funny you completely omit the part when I got bored of playing you because you kept losing doing the same shit over and over again and didn’t learn. Afterward you start crying about wanting to playing me again. Or in that same match when I was winning, or when I switch to Alex and you immediately quit because you already knew the outcome at the character select screen. You’re too pro with your stomp patterns in a 10 fr/s match.

As an Oro main I hate Chun. That match is just gross. That’s not to say I’m not interested in playing it to try and learn.
