You can link c.lk because if you do a CROUCHING throw, you always get a crouching short :). So only for crouching short can u plink, not for standing lk or c.lp/s.lp. It makes doing c.lk x 3 xx banishing flat with zangief stupidly easy too.
:amazed: 30 secs in training mode is all it took. You are my hero. If I ever meet u in real life Iāll buy you a coke :wgrin: Thank you so much!
This sounds like exactly what I need. Thanks, Pieguy.
another noob question: can this new plinking thing be used for HHS?
I have the feeling that plinking wonāt work on HHS because it has an ex associated with it. Iāll try tomorrow when Iām practicing BnBās for tourney tomorrow.
Iām not sure how to go about comboing HHS using plinking tho but Iāll sleep on it for sure.
In terms of the s.rh after HHS, plinking the s.rh by doing s.hk~mk does work and makes the 5 frame link even easier. Youāll probably have 50% success rate on the roundhouse if all you do is mash tho but 100% is always better than 50%.
Iām pickinā up what youāre layinā down. One combo that Iāve found is worse for me w/plinking is the s.mp > s.rh. It screws up my timing something fierce but all the other combos seems to benefit from it. Iād like to learn more reliable way to push HHS. It sucks when I mash the buttons and my opponent knows its coming
Mash everything all the time, no way to tell what the hell is coming.
The way I do a fierce HHS from a c.LP is something like c.LP, HP, MP, LP, MP, HP really fast; itās the kind of thing where I just do it by feeling so I donāt know if thatās the completely correct sequence or not. For a fierce HHS you need to Px5 + the HP at the end. For EX HHS I do MP, LP, MP, LP, MP+HP since you only need to do Px4 + PP.
While these things work for me, they may not work for you. The one thing you donāt want to do to get a HHS out is just do something like HPx6.
New replay 10
:cybot:Is it me or does chun-li take damage worse than akuma?? Check out the crazy damage she takes from my honda at the start of this match.
That guyās execution is impeccable. Iāve never seen anyone play Honda like that in SF4.
His execution is actually just pretty good. Akimo has him waaay beat in terms of execution. Combos into fp hhs into super consistently.
yeah this guy is really amazing. i love how heās not afraid to dash forward an opponent, take some real balls and some mind games.

Props to Mike Ross for beating a sick Akuma.

vs 74 (AK):
He uses Hondaās c.LP -> HHS like Gen uses Mantis s.MK -> hands. Crazy stuff.
It makes his Honda such an aggressive character. Although I wish heād use more ochio jab after c.LP.
EDIT: NVM, Iām an idiot - he kept using c.LP -> HHS even if blocked to corner the opponent. Impressive Honda although he shouldnāt have been so aggressive against Shiro.
all these vids always make me wanna stay with honda when i think i should finally switch heh.
thx so much guys

I didnāt see anyone post this vid of Mike Ross vs. Antwan Ortiz in the semis of the Gamestop tournament. I missed whenever this was uploaded and just saw it recently. I have a feeling that Rog didnāt know the matchup, but I still learned some things. Fierce Chop!
Man, if Mike Ross uses more c.LP -> HHS combo, heāll be even more deadly.

if anyone cares, hereās my final battle to 15000 GP.
I have no idea what these french guys are saying but by far they have the best commentary. Very exciting to hear.
