regarding those jump back fireballs. ive been punnishing them with fierce headbutts during akumas recovery, going right under the fireball. is that shit legit, or are the akumas just too scrubby to block? or is it both?
Both, they canāt block it if you get them before they land. But if they do it late youāll eat the lp fireball. Not much to stress about though as it hits for like 4.
As pie (i think) suggested you should start every match against akuma with a FP headbutt since they will tend to start every match with a jump back fireball to setup their zone. Once this has hit youāre in and before theyāve even started theyāve lost 20% of their teeny tiny health pool.
Haha, I see all Akumas do that all the time. Even like 60k gp ones. I RARELY use akuma and I at least know some moves and combos with him. Those 60k ones are just fire ball, run, fireball, run
lol i knowā¦ i played an akuma player online in a player match, it was so annoying, anyways I destroyed him with my honda, and then switched over to akuma the second time aroundā¦ and well, i played a very much rush down akuma. I only really know like one combo for akuma, and thats lk.hurricane > hp.srk 
and still destroyed him, 3rd round startedā¦ i switched to dan, and he quit

Iām trying to get out of the habit of abusing splash on wakeup so much, but i was doing it against the abel because he liked to TT on wakeup.
