cr.mk hp HHS all depends on the method you use. Im a slider, so i kind of have my hand turned diagonally and i brush mk with my ring finger before my pointer hits lp.
Still, im not consistent with it and im having a bad hands week as i cant get them to come out for shit at the moment.
I believe cr.lp xx hands > cr.lp hands is character specific so you may be trying on the wrong one. Pick gief and slap that bastard to death instead.
well…im using mr.snk’s method of HHS, and I too seem to be having a bad week with HHS… for some reason, i keep pulling out ex hands when I dont want it to… thus wasting bar =/
Man, I’m in the same boat too. I can only play Honda in my first couple matches of the day. When I play him later on in the day my fingers feel too fatigued and it’s like I lost my dexterity. Instead of Mr.SNKs HHS method I get this “c.LP c.LP” or “c.FP” on screen.
Finger fatigue and carpal tunnel wrist strain(I’m a old ass man) is the main reason why I’m trying the switch from pianos and buffers of slides. As a result my HHS execution went from pretty good to shit because of muscle confusion. in training mode I can do all cancels with all methods but in real matches my execution is suspect lately.
you’re in san diego. just come out to box arena or ttf or whatever and i’ll try to help you learn how to do it.
just look in the san diego when and where will you play II thread to see when we are playing. usually every wednesday and some fridays.
i can show you how to do all the different piano techniques for pulling it off and yeb is there too and can show you how he does the slide method.
all the hhs stuff is easy with a little practice.
oh btw though, hhs into cl.p xx hhs is actually kind of character specific. it works on a lot of character crouching but only some of them standing. look in the match up thread for more info on that.
I know, I am hoping to be able to make it to one of the casuals, problem is most of the time I need a ride because on those days no one can lend me a car to drive. Only other honda player I have played against in San Diego, is Ksexy, and he kicked my ass, lol. But anyways that was a long time ago, I have gotten alot better since then. I know how to do the HHS, im just having major problems with c.mk to HHS =/
God, it was freezing the other day (welcome, autumn) and we went inside after loading up a truck…decided to play some rounds…GL HHS with cold hands. I.M.P.O.S.S.I.B.L.E.
I just wanted to share my method of hands maybe it’ll help someone out in the future.
cr.lp xx fp. hhs
Piano Method used. (just like MrSNK’s VIDEO) lp fp mp lp fp
c.mk xx fp. hhs
Slide Method used. Thumb hits mk button. Ring finger glides across fp mp lp mp fp in a clean swipe. IF i want an ex I’ll drop my pointe fnger down while sliding back to fp. I learned this from my buddy who plays Gen.
Never tried the slide method before…I’m sure this is answered elsewhere so my bad, but is the strongest normal that Honda can cancel into HHS from c.mk?
I’m slowly starting to get mk xx hands but it’s so damn awkward. I don’t think I could do it in a match because I have to take a minute and look at my buttons and figure out what I’m doing.
can anyone comment that has done hands on both fighstick and TE? I notice on Mr SNK’s videos that his buttons have been swapped out, maybe for TE parts?
Im really not getting hands, i can do it when my hands have a little moisture (haha) but not consistently without moonwalking or getting mp hands. I cant piano as im very dominantly left handed.
I live in UK and only played on the arcade once at an ST tournament i went to last year. I remember the buttons being so much lighter and springy compared to the ones i have in my fighstick.
Just wondered if someone can confirm before i buy new parts!
P.S a little off topic, but what shape gate do you guys like? Im really feeling the square one for charge characters but am thinking of octo as i switch up when im not playing seriously.
Square gate for everything. In general, the stock parts of the SE fightstick are shitty and should be replaced with obsf-30’s and a JLF-TP-8y by sanwa. Makes the stick much better but the upgrade will run you a good $50.
