Yeah, its true. In the manga, he moved so fast that Rei couldn’t catch. He descibed it as a sea of hands. ha ha ha. Seriously, I would rather commit suicide than fight someone like Raoh.
I remember those incidences when they used their auros but this was very different.

Slightly offtopic: I’ve never been interested in games that release platimum/elite versions that include an expensive collectors item like Halo 3 came with master chief’s helmet, the new Modern Warfare will come with night vision goggles. But if they released the new HnK game with Roah’s helmet I would buy that without hesitation! :rock:
^I like and wanted to buy the AOW version, I just didn’t have 4000 dollars on hand to buy the true to scale one.
Honestly, I really didn’t care for HnK2 that much myself. But even so…yeah, Shaft is right. To compare it to GT would be doing it wrong.
That said, I say, you really do need to watch it for yourself. That way you can get the best feel for it.
The first few episodes/chapters of the series were fine, and Falco and “AMERICA!” were great additions to the cast.
But my opinion? The Shura Arc (both in the manga and the anime) did a lot to screw things up. It introduced retcons that I think weren’t necessary, Kai-oh was just a bigger, more emo Raoh (they even have the same seiyuu, Kenji Utsumi! 
), and beyond say, Hyo and Shachi, there weren’t that many memorable characters.
And because the anime cuts off just after the throw-down with Kai-oh, you never really get to see the TRUE final outcome involving Bart and Lynn. Which is sad, because I was actually hoping to see that animated, and it would have done more for Bart’s character.
But any way…again…you really need to see it for yourself.

That said, the new VAs for the upcoming Hokuto Musou seem pretty promising. Ken is voiced by Katusuyuki Konishi (Kamina from TTGL, Maxima from KOF) while Roah is voiced by Fumihiko Tachiki (Kenpachi from Bleach, Gendou from Evagelion, will be a new character in Sengoku BASARA 3). From what I heard at the Koei conference two nights ago, they did a fine job, and most of the JP fans seem to be pleased with them as well.
Not a small feat, considering many of them, like us, prefer Kamiya and the OGs over these new guys from these last few OVAs.

I actually really liked Shachi, spying on all the fighters learning their secrets then defeating them, exactly what I would have done lol.
I just remembered I have a holographic poster that I bought off ebay over 5 years ago with all the cast from HnK1 and 2.
if that’s the case i’ll be picking it up for sure.

Its not that bad actually. Everyone just sees those 4 sec matches and toki beams when now the matchups are quite even. As long as the matches are set to three rounds I think its fine. I mean, basket ball combos are pretty darn hard to do in real matches.
I remember making a combo video way back when it first came out. Boy did I love this game.
Also, I loved hnk 2. The music at the end where it showed everyones face made me happy and sad at the same time.
4 disc? I doubt 152 episodes will fit.
I’ll probably buy the Raoh helmet before i die, $4500 seems worth it…I wouldn’t mind getting a jagi one too…
There was a life size statue of Raoh & Kokuoh i wouldn’t mind getting too, shit would be sweet in my backyard.

is the proper way to pronounce Roah is like the word “row” or is it more like “row-oo”?
More like “Raw-Oh”.
And good god no will the release be just 4 discs unless they’re doing some HK fansub quaility. It’ll be 4 season sets. Hopefully they’re $50 a pop or less or I’ll be less inclined to buy.

I don’t know about the new gameplay vid the graphics seemed to downgrade to me it lacks the polish of the leaked trailer.

I know that Ken ends up taking care of Raohs son or something, is that a big spoiler, or is it irrelevant? Id be salty if it was a key factor into the story and I already knew it before watching.
