The HnK game was the shit. The only reason why we’ll probably never see another HnK videogame is because, Sega Sammy owns the rights to making Hokuto no Ken fighting games IIRC(Or something technical like that). Arksystems isn’t under Sega Sammy anymore. So Sega Sammy has no division to make fighting games anymore.
Arksystems went Indie, ditched Sega Sammy and the Guilty Gear series and started up again with Blazblu
Shin was one hard of hearing motherfucker btw. The girl clearly doesn’t like all of the expensive gifts. Why do you keep giving her these gifts. Its not gonna convince her.

You a silly ass fool for that one hahahha!!!. Julia was all like Yeah diamonds are nice but the people need water . Shin thinks oh shit I should bring her some liquid gold
If I remember correctly, Sega had the rights to making games based off of the original anime series, specifically. That much should be evident, considering that some other party made that PSP fighting game based off of the “Raoh Gaiden” series.
But in any case, I’m thinking that by now, Sega’s rights have likely expired or were bought by Koei Tecmo some time later, seeing how we now have a new HnK game to look forward to from them, in just a matter of days (and right on time for my B-day, no less! Oct 13 '83! Yeah!:party:).
Any way…the fact that Yuria had purple hair should be a direct correlation to the original anime, which, as far as I know, is the ONLY HnK-related media that had her sporting that color for a while.
Hopefully, that game will stand to impress, whatever it stands to be. In fact, part of me wonders if, due to the fact that HnK lends itself so well to the world of Fighting Games (and to say the least, Arc’s game did quite well for itself), this may be Koei Tecmo’s attempt to try and see if they can cash in, as well.
I wouldn’t be adverse to such a thing, if it was done correctly. I mean, as much as I loved the ASW game, I’ll be honest, the fact that it basically had plenty in common with Guilty Gear was a bit of a turn-off. I wouldn’t mind something a little more “down to earth”. :wgrin:
Not that I know of, IIRC he left the Hokuto Shinken school after he got owned by Ken so chances are he never got the chance to perfect his skills as much as the other 3…
I want to see an RPG. I remember the first time I saw Capcom’s “God Hand” I thought my prays had been answered! It’s got so many influences from FOTNS, its a shame it wasn’t actually that good of a game.
The english promo for the TV series is awesome way to introduce someone (the narrator keeps referring to Shin as Kenshiro’s nemisis but the promo shows footage of Jaggy. But since he is so under used there is very little footage of Shin, a point I made earlier)

Personally for me it would have to be from the movie, Rei Vs Raul then that walk of destiny Kenshiro makes to Raul with Heart of Madness playing in the background
And there are some pretty amazing fanmade clips.

Also the 3D clip is slick its like Bruce Lee on speed, its a spoiler because its bascially how the Kenshiro defeats Raoh at the end of the series
