Wasn’t it Yuda (Betrayal star) who originally corrupted the Nanto 6, thus calling for Hokuto to show?
Yeah i’m pretty sure it was something along those lines. Which makes no sense to me…
So because Yuda decided to do his own thing, the other 6 were somehow “disrupted”?
Also I’m pretty sure Souther would still have done what he did regardless. He was always raised thinking he would be the holy emperor and rule someday, and after the world went to crap with the nukes, that seemed the perfect opportunity to rise to power.
Souther is my favorite villain/Nanto character by the way. One of the few men so badass, that even Raoh was afraid to fight him. He also has a better track record against Kenshiro and beat him worse that Raoh ever did.

Yeah that kinda threw me off too but I guess that was the only way they could make Yuda follow his star. Looking back at it:
Shin: Martyr’s star
Yuda: Betrayal star
Rei: Star of Righteousness
Shuu: Benevolence star
Sauzar: Pole Star
The Nanto cast would’ve followed their destiny stars regardless of what Yuda did.
The only one that might cast doubt IMO is Rei due to the Mamima/Yuda story and how he was critically wounded at the time. Then again, his meeting with Kenshiro had already changed him plenty.
Where did you see up to episode 5 subbed? I’ve only seen up to episode 2(i watched some past that, but had no idea what was happening).

Pretty sure the above pic is from the PS2 Fighting game, shu and yuria weren’t in it(and yuria is not really a “master” anyway).
The point is Jagi IS in the game, and he is not in the picture.
Have you really watched the entire series? Julia has the most important Nanto star (star of compassion) and is also called the last general. Yea, she doesn’t kill countless thugs but that doesn’t mean she’s not a master. Shu is way more important than Yuda as he is the sole reason Ken even lived beyond his teenage years. Yuda was the weakest of the Nanto school and he’s in the game. Doesn’t make him bettor or more masterful. The makers just wanted a wide variety of characters.
Julia is the most important because her and Ken’s fate is intertwined. Why do think everyone clamored hand in food to hide her identity and keep her alive. Mr. Heart is in the fighting game, so does that make him more important than Shu and Julia. Heart is just a bodyguard that disappears within one episode.
Yuria is only the last nanto general through blood relation, and what with the rest of the Nanto stars being dead by then(souther was the last to go).
She has no powers, has had no training, or fighting ability of any kind. In the end she is just hot ass that is being fought over, first by Ken & Skin, and then by Ken & Raoh. BTW I didn’t like how in the recent Yuria Densetsu movie, that she was suddenly retconned to having psychic powers or something. BS i say.
The point is neither Shuu or Yuria were in the game(besides background cameos), so its understandable that they weren’t there. However Jagi is in the game with the other 3 and yet still is not pictured.

If there is one thing all the Hokuto & Nanto masters could agree upon: They all wanted to bone Yuria.
Even her half-brother juzza wanted her. Damn.

Been watching more of the new Raoh series, and something reminded me of when Raoh killed souga in that raoh gaiden movie. Then when an enraged reina tried to attack him, he revealed to her that it was just apart of some dreadfully stupid plan to help fire the army up, and souga was in on it.
Whatever happened to the method in episode 2 when Raoh kills the head constructor guy, so that the rest would get scared and quickly finish building his castle in a mere 3 days? Instead…
Souga: “Hey roah the men seem a little dull lately, but you know what’ll really fire them up again? Killing me! Cool plan huh?” :wgrin:

Jagi Gaiden could work…what does the subtitle mean? I only can figure out Hana as being Flower, so is Jagi the…flower of destruction?
word up. hokuto no ken subbed from episode 1-152 is on mininova if you aint on it yet. its 33 gigs, and my download is almost finished. it has been topping out between 600 to 900kbs from when i noticed. lets just say, i started the download sometime after 3am, and at 11 it was at 65% done
