Definitely true, Grimm. I just think that the mysteries of what the Box can do need to be unveiled completely before banning becomes a “reasonable action” against it. How to Hit Box is getting there, but videos take time. However, I am sure EVO will likely always allow Hit Boxes, but other tournament coordinators are not quite as thorough and strict about issuing bans.
It’s going to be a while before all the mysteries are found out. We ourselves just started getting into hand positions a lot more. Like in our piano video, we’ve known about and have been using Light Position since the beginning, but we never expanded beyond that for some time, but now we’ve found several other, extremely useful positions for certain inputs. I don’t want to give anything away, but there’s going to be some stuff coming out down the road that is going to seriously shock people I think.
As for TO’s banning Hit Box and other stickless sticks, there’s really nothing you can do about it. We’ve tried to make it a point to get the word out that there’s no cheating involved and everything we do is to make a legitimate tournament competitive controller, but because rumors travel quickly and misinformation is spread (as well as personal bias) it’s going to be quite some time before people will even accept the idea of someone competing on something that isn’t a stick. We’re going through the same thing the pad went through, although in my opinion a bit more severe since no one accused the pad of cheating, even though in some cases you could definitely call what the pad could do cheating.
Once more people get their hands on one and there’s more in the tourney circuit maybe one day we’ll get a Hit Box in top 8 at a major and then the process can finally start where people will accept stickless sticks as an honest to goodness alternative to sticks.

Meh fuck them, most of the people who hate the hitbox have no idea why they are trying to ban it, besides that it double blocks in ONE GAME, a game thats getting a new version come 2 months and it was a issue with the game not the controller.
In so cal however, im holding this shit down and if anyone says anything about the goddamn issue i will demand an explanation and it better be a good one, or im gunna have a bitch fit over someone using a stick. isnt that the reason 99% of the FGC uses them? its because it makes things easier for thei inputs?
I’m sure some stick players just mad when they find out they need to modify or buy a new stick(less) controller. I wasn’t too excited about having to spend 100+ to have something I preferred over a standard controller but superior tech costs money. Now that people are discovering that there are some advantages to this design, they would rather just have it banned than have a new standard emerge.
Well, don’t I feel like a doofus. Wanted to see what was under the hood of my Hit Box and I can not for the life of me put Humpty Dumpty back together again. How on earth do you get the USB connector back in the hole so the left side screws line up? Help please, even though I understand if you don’t as it was my dumb fault for opening it without absolutely needing too, lol.
Edit: Pretty cool how the mounting bracket is on the top plate and how neat everything is put together. Bravo, Hit Box. Oh and also didnt realize that start/select/home were screw-in buttons. Interesting design, just cant get the thing back together, grr…, lol.
thanks for the compliments, to put it back together, you have to kinda slide the faceplate back in, thats how to line up the hold with the mounting bracket.
Ummm kinda hard to invision but to give you a mental reference, the usb actually goes THROUGH the hole, so picture puting something through a hole?

its because of the double blocking shenanigans, but those people dont know what their talking about or even did any research.they just labeled that issue as a universal thing that we didnt fix.
Hell I spoke to nerd josh when he was down in so cal, and he said “if i ever have to play against a hitbox guy i will refuse” i asked why and he said it was cheating. lol i should him that you couldnt double block on it and he still didnt care. Oh well haters gunna hate
Got to fix my hitbox last night 
turns out the ratteling was just 2 loose screws from the pcb which was making it disconnect i guess? either way screwed them back in and got into a pc session on sf:AE last night with my hitbox and was loving it, great purchase really recomend one to anyone thinking into it and those that arent or worried about them should deff give it a chance. Awesome awesome product love mine ! cant wait to get my sjc’s and such down with it :D!

It is rather said to hear that from someone like Nerd Josh, but I would happily take his forfeit if he so desires. That would be his loss. Personally, I wouldn’t care to play someone with turbo, shoulder buttons or even a record/playback input button. Execution can vary in ease, but the battle of minds stays the same.
It’s necessary with the size of the case, otherwise the plexi would only be held down on the sides and the middle would warp. It’s a pain to take apart, but trust me, it’s better.
Why not make a bigger case like the TE? Easier to take apart, and people can rest their wrist on it in between rounds (char select, options, etc)
But we did make it bigger. Quite noticeably bigger too. In fact that’s why we need more screws, because the case is so big.

What the HELL is going on with the PS360+. akishop said 3 weeks ago that they were going to announce something about the software before they shipped it out. This is getting ridiculous. I’m sorry HitBox guys… I REALLY want a hitbox but I’m about to just have a friend make one for me. This is ridiculous. Akishop sucks. Maybe i’m just frustrated.
It’s not hitboxes fault and trust me its worth the wait.
