Just wanted to ask if I were to dual mod the PS3/PC Hitbox into PS360 what would I need to do?
Has anyone ever thought about putting one of those gel-like wrist rest strips below the buttons? You know, those things you can get for computer keyboards?
Couldnt hoit.
So hitbox team I have a problem⦠the email account that I used to pre-order my hitbox got deleted thanks to some viruses that I was not aware.
Since I canĀ“t change the main address I put another emails accounts in the āadd a commentā
So⦠would that help me or I“m screwed?
Thanks
Is left + right really neutral with the hitbox? On my PC with my keyboard the forward direction always gets priority in AE. How will it work with either version of the hitbox? Will the PS360 allow forward when left + right is pressed?
Edit, decided to skim through about 12 pages. Is it custom firmware that causes the neutral with left + right? Can stock firmware be applied by the customer afterwards?
Been trying to get accustomed to the Hitbox and boy must I say, while itās awesome and all but it really puts a strain on your arms when maintaining the T-Rex position. Also you need to make some really flexible fingers to get good with the Hitbox considering how limiting the ring finger is (especially the SRK motion)
Iām definitely not going to give up, but I will warn others that this requires very precise inputs to reap the benefits.
Yes, itās our custom PCB firmware (soon to be the standard for the Cthulu) that makes it go to neutral, and no, āstockā firmware cannot be applied and we do not provide any other firmware.
It was at $175 the day before the auction ended.
Have you found out which is considered the best?
the auction ended around 225. There was a big bidding war right at the end.
Itās possible that there will be soon another one on Ebay
Iām about to receive my HitBox AND a custom Keystick
I“m reposting this⦠so did I lose my spot on the list? or what?
thanks again
Weāre going over it to make sure everything checks out. Youāre not going to lose your spot, donāt worry.
Make a Seimitsu edition.
Or a Cherry MX Brown Microswitch Edition.
Sanwa is the industry standard and we arenāt currently in the business of doing customs. Probably not going to happen.
Good to know, thanks for the quick answer
I love this thing. That is all.
Why? What did u play before? Pad or Stick? Was it hard to switch?
Already looking forward to get hands onā¦
Well donāt take my word as anything really. Iām not very good, but I am confident behind a stick. In SS4, the shortcuts make some characters feel way different than playing with a stick. Take Gouken for instance. Most of his moves are srk based and because of the shortcut inputs, they come out EXTREMELY fast. You can pretty much hold foward and tap down+atk and have his palm or kongo be almost instant (and back the same way.)
The switch wasnāt too difficult. 360 characters are still iffy for me atm. I would say the hardest parts were learning the new timing and muscle memory, getting that right thumb in action for jump, and trying to use a lighter touch (those buttons feel like they would go off if a feather touched em!) Youāll be able to react and jump when you need toā¦just not immediately. Which, IMO, is better as it keeps you grounded and makes you focus on ways to get to your opponent that doesnāt require constantly jumping in.
Iām scrubby as hell so a more experienced person probably provide a better explanation.
