Hit Box - We so S Tier1!

I hope I’m on the list I did send an email recently.

half circles are kicking my butt

what pcb are you using?
If your pcb doesn’t do left+right= neutral, you have to make sure that you lift the first finger (on the left or right) as fast as possible.
when you 123 or 321 if you don’t you get 13 or 31, which games don’t count as half circle.

The best way to learn half circles is to tap back and then instantly hadoken forward. You get the whole half circle naturally since the buttons are so sensitive. It’s more of a mental trick to learn it. It also helps eliminate the error of skipping 2. To master any motion, it’s best to do at least 10 successful moves in a row on both sides of the screen for warmup. You get really fast really quick.

We’re going to keep building all through the weekend. Thank you everyone for being so patient. We have no plans of slowing down.

Sent off my email yesterday  Hopefully the wait isn’t too long, I’m pretty psyched.

Zombie Xbox360 HitBox :>

Only took a day!

It’s pretty quick to get back into the basics. all my floor combos are pretty much fine (Ken), if not improved (easier to time SRKs out of jab strings). Ambiguous j.fierce after forward throw is slightly easier to space.

Air tatsus are being a bit tricky. Will have to drill them a bit.

I’m using the Akishop PS360 board, so I have to be careful about releasing “up”. Up + Down = Up in this case.

I sent my request in early March. The anticipation is killing me! Even worse… new pics were posted! :annoy:

Wow they look really good, looks like I’m having a white and black one come my way. Has anyone had one shipped to the UK? I want to know the shipping cost.

shipping cost

I ordered one and it is shipped to the Netherlands. Shipping is $50.
I assume to UK would be bout the same.

Hey guys your HitBox are looking great and wish you all the best with your venture, after seeing it I went ahead a made one myself as I had a spare unused Wireless xbox 360 Pad laying about.

When I started off I was planning to shift the buttons right and adding a fight stick to the far left along with a Cthulhu PCB. But i got lazy lol, may do it at a later date. This was a fun project so just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration.

I have never owned a FightStick but have messed around on a friends one, prefer the buttons though, also the battery pack stays in place with Velcro. Its currently only got a clear plastic film on the panel to prevent the MDF from absorbing moisture, not quite sure on what to cover it with yet.

Update 24/03: Finally got around to completing it. The Original Ibuki art is by Omar-Dogan and official Capcom art.

Hit Box Template

I posted about this a little more than a month ago, and never received any kind of response from anyone.

I’m working on my stick art, and its coming out sick, but I really need some kind of Hit Box template so I can know where my buttons are going to be. I haven’t been able to find any online, and even if I did, I’m not sure they’d be up to the official specifications.

Can somebody at least point me in the right direction? :wasted:

Hey,

A couple pages ago, I asked for help modding my SE into a hit box. It worked, but I don’t really like it and would like to switch back to a stick. Problem is, I was too stupid to pay attention to where exactly the cords went to on the hiring harness when I cut them. I’m worried that there might be a short if I accidentally re-attach the ground to the wrong place. The way my stick was done was the cords were cut a little away from the wiring harness, so some of the original cord is still attached to the harness, and I’m aiming to re-attach the cords to those. Does anybody happen to know which cord corresponds to what? It’s a Madcatz SE if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance.

IIRC the PCB should have the connections labeled on the underside.

The stick’s PCB doesn’t seem to. I’m looking for what the harness that connects to the stick corresponds to. I just now had a thought: would it be possible to take the wiring harness that is connected to the PCB that lists what each cord does, stick it into the stick, and then put the wiring harness that originally went to the stick onto the PCB? If I used the PCB’s wiring harness, that I could cross reference what each cord was supposed to do.

So psyched about these.

Can’t wait to nab one!

Hey Brian. I’m just posting to ask for an update on the hitbox availability. You seem to have made several boxes over the past two weeks, but I never got an email myself. I assume that the waitlist is much longer than I anticipate, and I’m probably still in the back of the line. Just checking to be sure.

I respect what the creators have done, but it just doesn’t work very well for characters with HCB motions. I’m sure you could adapt but it’s too easy to get an SRK or reverse SRK motion out instead.

I’m a little confused by what you wrote. Regardless, the pins on the stick and the PCB should be in the same order, except maybe reversed. So Down Up Right Left Ground or Ground Left Right Up Down.

Yes, looking back at it, I did put it in a confusing manner. Sorry, I am not a particularly clever man. Just tell me this: will I short something out if I put things in the wrong order here? Can I just do trial-and-error?
