I actually never new TAP did that much damage… Well I dont play Balrog, and a Balrog has never gotten me with it so I guess that explains why.
Now to up the ante, what is the largest combo someone can do without burning a single meter (Ultra or EX)? Apart from infinites of course since those are, well, infinite.
The longer you hold the TAP, the higher the damage. It takes a pretty long time for max damage though.
chun practical 950 stun combo in corner is nice as hell…
do you mean without needing a single meter or burning one? because if you can get one meter during the combo then use it, that’s different
Hmm. Viper’s basic j.HK, FFF xx m.tk is 336 damage, 421 damage on Claw without his mask, and 700 stun. That’s quite a bit for no meter, but there’s probably better out there.
Akuma: counter hit cr.MP > far.HK > cr.LK xx LK Tatsu > HP SRK is pretty good for no bar. Think it is just shy of 450
you might be able to get j.HK far.HK close.HP lk tatsu HP srk, i know j.HK -> far HK is possible but dependent on spacing, and far.HK close.HP also possble but dependent on spacing…if not then you can just stick in a low forward instead of close HP…would probably get a little more than 460 like this
anyway, highest meterless…final TAP doesn’t use meter, but the problem is that if we aren’t using meter, we can’t combo off of it, so it isn’t a combo! lol!

I think that’s pretty much as good as it gets for no meter outside of Fei Long or Elf’s infinite (Fei’s is character specific however).

That is a variation with a FADC into Shaku.
You can actually link a HP from a HK for an extra 30. If you do the combo you get around 453.

This ones is 830 dmg. [There goes akuma and Seth] The ryu one I mentioned was about 740DMG probably, only costs 2 bars and an ultra. But needs good timing.

it hurts a lot.
No meter/grounded opponent with sagat j.HP s.MK c.lp TU does over 400 damage
